Morning Mick , morning All from a cloudy corner of Somerset.

Caught up yesterday so feel more relaxed. Our Littlest is coming for a sleepover, we’re both looking forward to spending time with him. No idea what we’ll do, see how the weather goes.

We also loved Hill Street Blues, baubles, misquotes are bandied around here daily. Long wait for you all yesterday kitty.

Hope Wednesday is kind to us all.

Good morning Mick and everyone from a lovely bright Hull.
I’m sure they missed you in the cafe Mick and hope that visit gave you your confidence back.
grandMattie ? you never know what the day will bring for your DH. Enjoy your DGS visit today. He’ll make you both smile.
Kittylester it’s good to hear your daughters operation went well. Here’s to her continuing recovery. ?

Today just going to the gym this morning after putting our bedding on the line. Not sure about this afternoon we’ll see how the day goes.
Hope all of you recovering from covid get your strength back and that fatigue that’s hanging on disappears.
Take care everyone and hope Wednesday brings a moment of joy??

Good morning from a cloudy Malta where we are expecting a hazy day with yet more wind.

Thank you all so much for your kind messages yesterday regarding my twin grandsons. DD3 is home now, hard leaving her babies in hospital but she can visit once a day and is expressing milk for them for when they are able to have it. At the moment they are still being fed intravenously.

Kitty I was so sorry to read about your daughter and hope she will make a full recovery after her surgery yesterday. You must be so worried.?

grandMattie your poor DH is really having a tough time of it. I do hope the new medication will help relieve some of the misery he is going through. It’s hard for you too, seeing a loved one so unwell and not being able to do much is very difficult I know.

Glad to hear normal service has resumed for you Mick and hope you keep well.

Not much planned for today as there is tennis to watch from Monte Carlo, but I shall nip to the hairdressers, call in on DD3 and later take my dog Buzz for a much needed grooming. It’s a feat in itself getting him into the car so wish me luck!

Take care and I wish you the best day possible.☀️

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where it promises to be warmer today.
My poor DD called last night to tell us she’s having yet another miscarriage, she didn’t seem surprised as she said she has never’felt’ pregnant. Poor family, this is her 6th one, she is especially grateful for her two beautiful children today.
I have DH back and that is lovely. What was lovely, was our trip to the farm yesterday, I was close to tears (happy ones) driving them home thinking about how lucky we all are and just how adorable my DGC are.
Take care everyone ❤️ I need to get to work!

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I’m hope by to make a John Whaite recipe today - Simnel buns. We are going for lunch at a nearby pottery. Probably their delicious quiche and salad followed by cake! It is our local History Society meeting this evening, so we’ll probably toddle along to that. ???to lots of you.

Good morning everyone from a wet and soggy Inverness but at least it’s warmed up a bit. Yesterday turned out to be a lovely day and I got lots done in the garden
It’s good to hear you got back to your usual cafe again yesterday mick and nice that they asked where you’d been
Today I’m tackling more cleaning jobs and I’ll maybe pop into town later
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning from a bright, mild Colchester. It looks like rain clouds might be starting to build up. It's still chilly enough for the heating to click on first thing.
Wednesday is coffee meetup in town followed by a browse.
I have noticed that prices are creeping up. I shall try my best not to buy new Summer clothes. As shops are disappearing fast from our high street that won't be difficult.
Love to all ? x

Gingster Wed 13-Apr-22 07:16:58

Good morning all and it’s mild and still, here in Essex.

We travelled back from Suffolk yesterday after a busy week clearing the cottage in preparation for the heating engineer to install the new system. I’m glad we’ve been able to move out for a month or so.

This morning I have little Dg coming while her mum has an appointment. We will do Easter crafts. ?.
DH is going fishing, so I’ll be without a car. I will have to shop tomorrow as the family are coming Good Friday . Baking and meals to prepare. Eldest gd is home from Uni, so will come to give me a hand . Dh will make up clues for the Easter egg hunt.
Busy busy! ? but oh what fun! ?.

Sar how lovely to have your girls with you. Enjoy! ❤️

Kitty I hope your Dd had a restful night after her ‘late’ op. Waiting around all day is so frustrating! Hope all goes well for her. ?

GM glad you had a better day and night! ?

Bellasnanna - how lovely to ‘see’ you posting and congratulations on your twin babies. They will soon thrive and grow like Topsy. My twin grandsons will be 16 in a couple of weeks . They were so tiny at birth and are now gorgeous 6 footers. . ?. Keep us posted on their progress.

Wishing you all a good day!
???

Morning Mick and all

Off to the gym this morning, my lovely cleaning fairies are here also so I shall come back to a shiny home.

(((Hugs))) to all in need.

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning Mick, morning all from rainy South Lanarkshire.

Glad you enjoyed your day Mick.

Pleased to hear that your daughter’s op went well Kitty.

Lovely to see Taichinan posting again.

Another day at the coal face, I am really missing our volunteer who died last week, it’s a different place without him.

Nothing much happening here other than work this week and next as I’m covering for the manager’s annual leave.

Have a good day and be careful out there, to miss quote a line from an old favourite tv series.

BlueBalou Wed 13-Apr-22 07:01:59

Good morning everyone, it’s a dull start here today.
I’m taking DDog to a dog walking field with a friend this morning then having a quiet day, nothing planned.
I need to do some ironing and think about sowing runner beans and dwarf beans in pots, to get them started off in the greenhouse.
Covid has left me feeling rather flat too Ashcombe, some warm sunshine would help I think!
Hugs to anyone who needs one, take care x

Ashcombe Wed 13-Apr-22 06:46:09

Good morning from The Sarthe where we expect a warm day but not much sunshine.

What a fiasco with your car, BlueBalou! I do hope it behaves from now on. Speaking of cars, I hope Marydoll coped with her hospital journey yesterday. Also, thoughts with kitty and her DD. Try not to worry about your repeat blood test, Urmstongran - it could be a temporary blip which will right itself. Such things are unsettling, I know.

Yes, Beechnut, it’s very peaceful here, especially at night when the closed volets also help as they guarantee a dark bedroom. Despite needing a morning nap yesterday, I slept for 7.5 hours last night! Thank you to those who reassured me that this fatigue is common after Covid.

I hope the returning old friends on here decide to become regular contributors. You have been missed!

Caring thoughts to grandMattie and all who have poorly loved ones for whom to care. ??????

kittylester Wed 13-Apr-22 06:42:40

Morning all from a slightly overcast North Leicestershire.

DH has his booster booster today whereas I am far too young.

DD1 eventually had her op around 4pm yesterday and all seems to be OK.

I hope your dh has a good day gm hard times for you.

grandMattie Wed 13-Apr-22 06:16:24

Good morning from a slightly overcast E Kent. The temperatures are supposed to rise, but I’m not holding my breath.
A better night and a better day. DH’s antiemetic medication has been changed as the other ones were damaging his heart. He is terrified that they won’t work and that he’ll start being sick again. Very dozy all day. Movement and exercise much reduced. Sad to watch him.
DGS has announced his visit today, which we shall enjoy. Our retired vicar friend is coming round this afternoon to give Mr. gM communion, which he appreciates.
It’s lovely to hear such good news and see a lot of our old posters back again!
Carpe diem. ????????

Good Morning Everyone,
Its cloudy here at the moment but dry in Brackley , anyway whilst out yesterday I noticed that the blackthorn is still very much in blossom , normally a sign of colder weather to come.
