Good morning from an overcast NE.
I am having my booster this afternoon, sister is going to take me as she is bringing me some shopping.
DS and family will visit and stay for dinner, girls will be collecting their Easter eggs.
I had a lazy day yesterday, watched some TV, read my novel and had a long afternoon nap on the bed.
Good to hear gM's DH is pottering around.
Enjoy your weekend.

Good morning all from a sunny S Hants. Hurray, I tested -ve yesterday afternoon as did MrJ who tests regularly and it’s passed him by.
So, off we went to the local, sat outside in the sun and I caught up with people, slept 10 hours last night!
Saturday is newspaper day and I’m making burgers for tomorrow’s family bbq.
I’m so pleased your birthday went well grandMattie and MrgM got outside to potter.
Hoping you all have a pleasant Saturday and those poorly or with poorly family have a gentle day ??

Lovely sunny day again did some gardening yesterday and DH mowed the lawn he will do the front one today.
Nice to see grandMattie DH felt up to a bit of gardening and your birthday meal sounded delicious.
Friends coming over later and we'll go over to the club.

Good Morning Mick, Annie and all, on this beautiful right and sunny morning.
I was quietly pottering around my Ipad, and drinking my first cuppa of the day, when DH says, "we shall have to get up as DS will be here soon". Oh my gosh, I had completely forgotten. They are off on holiday, and are using us as a half way stop. It will be lovely to see them, and if they want lunch, then there will be a cheese sandwich. That's about all, as we didn't go shopping yesterday and there was enough in the house to feed us.
Thinking of all who need a bit of support these days.
So now I had better go and make myself as presentable as can be, and prepare for the onslaught of DGS, whirlwind of this planet.
Enjoy your day one and all.

Have the best day possible folks

Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s sunny in my corner of Lancashire, currently 12°C.

I did very little yesterday other than rest my foot and watch the steam trains crossing the bridge. Today will be the same as we have a family lunch tomorrow which I don’t intend to miss! Ashcombe, I have downloaded the audiobook of ‘Dead in Devon’ so I will have something to entertain me. It’s pleasant lounging here, sipping tea and listening to the birdsong.

Pleased you had a good day on your birthday Grandmattie.

Glad you enjoyed a meet up yesterday Shazza and GrandmaD.

Good results JaxJacky what a relief it must be.

Hope all our Covid warriors are not feeling too poorly and -ve tests are not too far off.

Thinking of all our grans going through difficult times. Wishing everyone the best day possible flowers

Getting my washing done and going to be pottering about in the garden. Will sort out Easter eggs for the family as we are going over for dinner tomorrow. I think it's to be the only good weather day, so I'm going to sit in the garden later on with Stephen King lol. A Happy Easter to everyone when it arrives.

TillyTrotter Sat 16-Apr-22 10:01:51

Henetha Thank you, your day out sounds wonderful.
Mind those lovely little Dartmoor ponies that roam free .

Good morning all from the Angus coast where it is a paler shade of grey with the sun playing a game of peeky-boo through the gloom. No sign of blue sky, but you never know. Nothing of interest to report, but glad that grandMattie's DH had such a good day yesterday and that Marydoll is suffering with her usual humour! Best wishes to all for a lovely sunny Easter Saturday x

dragonfly46 Sat 16-Apr-22 10:14:21

Good morning from sunny Brighton - had to go and buy a dress yesterday as it is so warm. Went to a lovely farm as DGD had a birthday party there.
Today we are going to Saltburn if my DS can find some petrol - there was none yesterday!

Good to hear your DH had a good day yesterday GrandMattie.

Hoping all those poorly ones feel better.

Doodle Sat 16-Apr-22 10:15:51

Hmmm Miss Marydoll found yourself in the wrong bed indeed. Not that secret admirers by any chance. ??
So pleased you are on the antivirals and seem to be ok. Wishing you a speedy recovery.x

Good morning from Durham. It’s very overcast but mild. Manic day yesterday with DD2, her DH, Baby H who is now crawling, plus her 2 dogs. Managed lunch and decided to leave the mess ‘til later, then a friend arrived unexpectedly to add to the mayhem. Today’s plan is to empty the dishwasher, take her older dog out (I’ve kept him here for the weekend) do her ironing and potter in the garden.
Very pleased to hear Gm and her DH had a better day yesterday - hope it continues.
Have a good day.

JaneJudge Sat 16-Apr-22 10:25:45

It is glorious here so I have washed down all the garden furniture and will put the cushions out when it is dry. Mr Judge is making a strawberry planter out of a pallet and all the children and partners will be home later for a Chinese takeaway (snap Mick smile )

Happy Easter everyone smile I am pleased to hear you are doing okay Marydoll. Nausea is one of the symptoms of covid now too, so it may not be the anti virals x

ginny Sat 16-Apr-22 10:28:43

Good morning. Sitting in the sun waiting for the rest of the family to be ready.
We are off for a tootle around a local village and then some are off to an aviation museum. I shall baby / dog sit.
Sons in Law will be in charge of bbq later on.
Hope you all have a good Saturday. Thinking of all with worries and troubles.

LauraNorderr Sat 16-Apr-22 10:59:58

Late good morning to you all from sunny Anglesey. Off to Leicester to collect 12 year old granddaughter for a week of fun with us.
Glad to hear MrMattie had a better day and enjoyed some gardening gMattie, must have lifted your spirits.
That strawberry pallet idea sounds good JaneJudge, might suggest Orlin does the same.
Pleasant holiday wishes to all ???

hollysteers Sat 16-Apr-22 11:04:08

Good morning Mick and all from a warmer if slightly cloudy northwest coast.
Quiet day today, washing machine on and might have a walk in the dunes.
Will go over to close friend and pianist for run through for classical concert next week after the roads are quieter (50 miles away)
Must do more exercise, am bursting out of this pinafore dress, an old friend…
Thoughts to all with troubles ☘️?

LifeOfBriony Sat 16-Apr-22 12:06:17

Late check in today for no good reason. Sunny again which is lovely - I've washed a pair of curtains and they are on the line. No particular plans but a few options, some more appealing than others!
Enjoy your days, all.
