The World of Wordle

I can't get my ahead around the need to go on a thread; where people have been happily exchanging their thoughts and ideas about a daily quiz, for months on end with no trouble to anyone, and tell them that you can't see the point. There's no "point" to most of the threads on GN apart from the fact that they give people pleasure. That's good enough. But no one is forcing anyone to join in; the scroll facility on your mouse is there for a reason.

Agree, Chewbacca what the point of posting you cant see the point. It is a bit of fun and no competition with others at all. I just enjoy it, I do it amongst everything else I do.

I cannot get my head around the need to post your results daily on the likes of GN and Facebook. What is the point??? I have never seen anyone announce that they completed the Times Crossword in 10 minutes or similar. Surely the point of Wordle is to keep brains active and for your own satisfaction. It is not a competition.

Of course it's a competition - we're all a load of show-offs!

I don't see it as a competition, apart from the Latin one. I like to give Callie and Ixion a run for their money. ?
However, I seem to have run out of steam, lately. I blame my Covid brain fog!

I have got so far with the Latin one, but I am resting my brain for the Latin one.

I failed miserably with Le Mot yesterday, better today.

I am in despair.
I finally got my line in 6 after a random stab of what was remaining (not a lot by then).
Never heard of it, not in Lewis and Short (warning ?s) and clicking on their 'definition' tells me it's NOT a word at all either?‍♀️
Can't retrieve my completed grid, click to open again and now have a branny.
Give up.
Have emailed asking what is going on. Does it now think it's Tuesday?

Mine's odd too when I just looked at it, it only has the answer there, not the previous attempts.

I must say the answer was a stab in the dark, something I thought I'd made up.
