I don’t see it as a competition and I’d be surprised if anyone else here sees it that way. But I enjoy seeing everyone else’s grid and how many changes they make to solve it. It’s a bit of harmless fun and I enjoy it.

Quite true G23. But this is a fun thread. No competition at all, just comparing notes about our individual results. Often admitting we didn’t even “get” the day’s Wordle. It’s nice to share things sometimes and, as I say, it’s just a bit of fun. You have clearly been reading the thread so please feel free to join in, and share your results, good or “bad”!

I cannot get my head around the need to post your results daily on the likes of GN and Facebook. What is the point??? I have never seen anyone announce that they completed the Times Crossword in 10 minutes or similar. Surely the point of Wordle is to keep brains active and for your own satisfaction. It is not a competition.

I had all the letters in the wrong place by line 3 so I was able to get it, but it would have been difficult to guess without that help, I think.
