Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it's currently 7°C. DH is golfing, so I have an emptie. As Covid warriors, we have been stuck with only each other, over the last three weeks, so I will be gleefully waving him off at the door!
Yesterday, I had a text from Track and Trace, advising me that I had been a close contact with someone who had tested positive for Covid and I needed an urgent PCR test.
Of course I had been stuck at home in the last ten days, with Covid and knew immediately it had to be a scam, especially as you can't have a PCR, if you have had Covid within a certain number of days and I already had a fast track number for that, just in case. On checking, I discovered, it was indeed a scam, so beware folks. How many would be taken in by this , it's disgusting.
A quiet day ahead, the anti virals and Covid are still affecting me, but thankfully not as severely. Balou, Oops and the other Covid patients, you have my sympathy.
I managed a little pottering in the garden, with DD and SIL popping in. I thought they had come to check up on me, but when I later went into the garage, I found two bikes, which had not been there before their visit. ? Our loft and garage are packed to the gunnells, with their stuff, prior to them moving in with us! ?
This thread is becoming more like the old days, with so much going on, the mood also seems lighter. Best wishes to all who are unwell or with appointments today, hospital or otherwise. Ash, I hope you remember to ask your cardiologist, about the reaction to your spray, just to be on the safe side. You are lucky to be seeing a consultant face to face. My urgent RA appointment for 4th June has just been cancelled and my new one is in September! ?
GM and those who are struggling just now, ?,
Have a good day, everyone.
