Take Care,
Mick
Thankyou x
Get well soon mamaa ?
Morning all- just! Thought I’d add to those who have tested +ve!
A friend was telling me she didnt know how she’d avoided it as she’d been out and about all over since Feb-
1 cruise under her belt and another imminent!
We’ve been quite careful-nervously went to a social gathering at the weekend, tested negative before attending- felt a bit rough Sunday/Monday but very achey today with a gruff voice. Just had a Lemsip and got the heating on…take care out there ladies x
Urms if you had just included feet in the photo I'm sure we would have recognised you!
Good morning all from a much brighter Algarve, we’ve got the sun today and it’s about 18° out.
Although it’s breezy it does look so much more cheerful when it’s brighter.
Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s cloudy and bright in my corner of Lancashire, currently 13°C with a chilly breeze making it feel much colder.
Yesterday’s Zoom meeting went well. We had a new instructor, Jamie, who also did the previous meeting. He is now going to be with us for the remaining sessions. I’m pleased about that as I find him easier to follow than the previous person. My foot is now better and I’m slowly getting back into my exercise routine.
Hope today is better GrandMattie.
Enjoy your break Marydoll, hope you have a restful day after yesterday’s expedition into the unknown.
What a beautiful baby Grandmadinasaur.
Enjoy that Lisbon trip Pittcity.
Thinking of all our grans going through difficult times.
This morning I’ve cleaned the en-suite bathroom before settling down with a mug of tea. I’m trying to divide my tasks into small, manageable steps. It’s been very pleasant sitting here catching up on the thread and listening to the birdsong, and while I’ve been typing the sun has put in an appearance.
Wishing everyone the best day possible ???

Thanks, Urmstongran, but which one?! You seem to have a good life ??
I’m guessing the lady in the pretty top on the right?
Good morning from south of Dartmoor. Not as sunny as yesterday but still quite pleasant apart from slightly chilly wind.
Undecided whether to stay in or go out today. There are so many chores waiting to be done that I feel like escaping from them.
Good morning from a miserable, overcast W Kent. Off for a cup of tea with friend and then carry on packing and sorting out for our break next week. Very thankful to hear DS has an appointment for someone to look at strange spot on his neck, it is all so chancy getting to see anyone and arranging anything.
Best wishes to all.
Good morning from cloudy South Yorkshire. I have a peaceful morning as himself had gone walking where a steep downward slope is involved so I have opted out of that one on behalf of my knees ?
I shall paint some skirting board and hopefully go back to the jubilee dress I am supposed to be making. At the rate I'm going the jubilee will be well over by the time it's done.
Have a good day all xx
I have just Googled where you are holidaying MaryDoll it looks absolutely beautiful.
Good morning from a shaft of sunlight on the Angus coast. There seems to be more blue sky today as well, and I'll test the temp when I hang the washing out in a moment. A very uneventful day yesterday spent doing nottalot. Today I will go and pick up an elderly friend who has stopped driving and we'll go for a coffee somewhere. So sorry your DH had such a dreadful night grandmattie. I hope you make sure to take time for a catch-up nap during the day - you must keep your own strength up. Enjoy Pittenweem Marydoll. Have you ever been to the Art Festival there in August? Artists come from all over and use whatever venues they can find - front rooms in people's houses, garages, garden sheds .... you name it. It's totally wonderful and atmospheric. And such a gorgeous little fishing village in the quiet time. Everyone else, enjoy your day, and keep cosy out of that north-easterly breeze. Off to the washing line I go x
Good morning from a cold w/York's we had a successful day yesterday got 2pair of curtains ,just the part we both dread the decorating ,it's back to picking up Gg from school hope it warns up.?to all with problems with health or other .
Three loads of laundry today which feels like a lot, though quite recently was the norm. Grey and still so don’t think it will dry but will give it a go.
What an interesting thread so far this morning, including a drama from the intrepid Marydoll, a simply lovely baby picture and news of trips and sunshine. Meanwhile my thoughts are with grandMattie and all those dealing with illness and anxiety. The later stages of life are not easy.
Good Morning everyone from Co Armagh, overcast and cold , I nipped out to give my fav plant the dregs of the teapot .
It has been very dry here but I’m reluctant to start watering , we do have a huge tank of rainwater on tap for the garden but are still careful with using it
After several messages backward and forward (getting more and more tight lipped ) tha missing part of our new greenhouse is supposed to be delivered today, this will be the 3rd time lucky I hope ! Two boxes were delivered , no box 1 , box one delivered after several messages , but it was damaged , Easter intervention, another delay , more empty promises ! I hope it does come
I gave lanky seedlings on the windowsills , the man who was to build it is awol the base didn’t get built …. Sigh ….

Thanks, Urmstongran, but which one?! You seem to have a good life ??
All I can say is that our Urms is looking extremely well ?
Thanks, Urmstongran, but which one?! You seem to have a good life ??
Good Morning all from the Scottish Borders where it is 7°C and cloudy.
Oh for some sunshine! I'm not jealous at all Urms
Yarn group today and badminton. I'm back into my routine after the helper left.
I did enjoy the bonfires and pub crawls.
My new cooker is half installed so I can cook on the hob. Still no oven but it's a start and my new stair carpet is soft and fluffy even if I'll need to trim the bathroom door to close it
Great news about the theatre group Ash with all the new volunteers. You must have done something right.
Have a nice day everyone especially those with troubles.
Gingster, glad you managed to get an appointment for your husband. It really is outrageous that people who are unwell, elderly or disabled are expected to queue up at 6.30 in the morning to get an appointment.Heaven help people in the winter when it will be freezing as well?
Good morning Mick and everyone from Carlisle. It was gloriously blue skied and sunny when I got up but now we have a lot of cloud. No rain on the horizon so it was out with the hose late afternoon yesterday when I decided the fat dark clouds that kept drifting over weren't going to give.
DS1 is supposed to be coming on Friday so I have to make sure it looks like I'm on top of the cleaning. I also have to contact my holiday insurance company to try and claim the cost of my holiday which I cancelled yesterday. The surgery will give (not the right word, sell at great expense) a certificate re my unfitness for the trip so fingers crossed.
If I can find time, I will potter in the garden. I mowed my little front lawn yesterday and wasn't disposed to linger out, it was unpleasantly chilly and breezy.
Marydoll your little accident, it could only happen to you! Your cottage situation sounds lovely, have a good time.
grandMattie...wishing you both better days and nights and pain relief for your DH.
Good morning from a cloudy S Hants..
Rollercoaster days and nights grandMattie thoughts are with you.
Like catching a bus for you that trip brook have fun and enjoy Lisbon Pittcity,
I spent a daft half an hour yesterday tracking our friends flight to Singapore on their way to Australia, there’s an app for everything!
I have three drives today, in between some weeding, we desperately need rain, but still the weeds grow.
Enjoy your day all ??
Good Morning to you all from an overcast, (with a slight chill)!, Cambs.,
You've obviously taken the sunshine with you, Urmstongran, enjoy!
Today we are off to the Norfolk coast as we have a (LPG) gas delivery tomorrow.
We need to be home by Saturday, when DH has his 2nd booster dose of CV vaccine, (mine is the following week).
Safe journey, Brook, enjoy your time with your family.
I hope that Marydoll & Gwenisgreat are having a good break away with their families.
grandMattie, kind, warm thoughts for you, take care of yourself too.
You are sounding more like your old self Mick, keep on taking it at your own pace.
Take Care Folks.
I thought of you yesterday Urmstongran when it came up on my FB memories that 10 years ago we’d been on a trip to your locality with photos from Parque Batteria and Mijas pueblo. Funny that you said you’re going there today! A lovely place.
Yes but which one are you on the photos!
Good morning all and it’s a bit grey here in Essex.
I managed to get DH an appointment at the docs yesterday. Had to queue outside for half an hour. There were already 5 people in front of me at 6.30, and about 20 behind me as the doors opened at 7. Elderly people with sticks mainly. It’s outrageous that this is the only way to get an appointment. ?.
Today Dh will go fishing so I will have an empty . I’ll probably walk up to town as it’s market day and get some skate wings for tea. Yum!
Happy holidays to Marydoll and Pittcity.
Gorgeous baby - Grandmadinasaur.??.
Enjoy the day???
Good morning all from a grey and dreary Essex by the sea.
I'm off to do last minute holiday shopping this morning.
DH has just had a reminder that is meeting friends in London at lunchtime, he had totally forgot !!!
I will start the job of packing later, we are off to France for a month on Saturday so lots to pack, luckily we are driving so not so restricted.
Have a great day everyone xxx
