Assuming the option was available?

No I'm happy in my skin, couldn't imagine being a man

Definitely. Other than sweaty tackle, white western men have got all the advantages. Society is literally designed for them.

I hope I'd be a better one than Boris, Piers Morgan, Murdoch etc tho.

I think this group are the most discriminated against. They can’t do anything right.

Anyway, I’m not allowed to have opinions, so I shall be off x

FannyCornforth Wed 04-May-22 16:53:13

Sorry Jo, but that isn’t true.

Oh my word Jo
I can see that you don’t teach working class / under class white boys

Oh I've taught many. Despite social deprivation, they're still the least discriminated group.

Hard to break social and cultural norms and values though.

I find the fixation with genitals extremely odd

My mother too wanted a boy badly! she always told me I was to be called Frank. Ive had a good life being a girl and felt so lucky to have 3 lovely children and the 4 super grandchildren. When you are older you realise the importance of a loving family is everything. Life hasnt always gone smoothly but its been pretty good!!

They have it SO much easier and seem to be oblivious to the emotional and practical work needed to make life go on. Yes I would come back as a man. For a start I would have been paid properly for what I did. The only thing is, I loved having my babies and I wouldn’t have missed that for the world!

No wouldnt want to come back as a man....I don't think I could cope with that illness that only men get ....MANFLU......Having had it my hubby said its worse than childbirth....shock

kjmpde Wed 04-May-22 14:58:41

when waiting in a queue for the loo - YES. You never see men waiting

sandelf Wed 04-May-22 14:47:57

No but I wish I'd been accepted as a girl. My mum had twin boys premature, died a few weeks old. By the time I arrived everything 'boy' was considered wonderful and any tomboyishness encouraged. Still, muddled through, married (happily) had a daughter - also happy. Happiest now as an old lady.

Edge26 Wed 04-May-22 14:27:51

No,no no!!!

DiscoDancer1975 Wed 04-May-22 14:00:46

No...I think men have been put down so much in the last few years. They can’t seem to do anything right!

snowberryZ Wed 04-May-22 13:30:52

I love being a woman.
Also, as others have said.
Men have dangly bits. Women don't. Couldn't be doing with having all that sweaty meat and two veg swinging around.
I like being feminine.

Well, my parents were so disappointed when I arrived, they were determined I would be boy. I tried very hard to 'be a boy' to please them, but that didn't work (I lacked the crucial equipment). Now, I am happy as I am - a woman!

grandtanteJE65 Wed 04-May-22 13:07:51

I have always been happy to be first a girl and later a woman.

I assume if we do come back, there is a reasonable chance that we will be just as content as the opposite sex if that is the option we get.

If the choice was or is mine, I would be a man on condition that I would grow up to be a Jesuit priest, otherwise no, thank you.

Next time round as a woman I would like to be the mother of a large family, not just of one child.

But actually the option of coming back once or twice as a cat is very appealing.

songstress60 Wed 04-May-22 12:24:15

Yes men have it easier. No periods, no pregnancies, no menopause. They come out better in a divorce. A great many medical conditions are experienced more by women like MS and dementia. They are mollycoddled in a divorce by people whereas a divorced woman is treated like a pariah by other woman. Men have it much easier.

Why on earth would I want to be a man? I love being a woman. I am emotionally aware, nurturing, compassionate, have excellent communication skills, wonderful friends who I can share deeply with, enjoy sisterhood. I see men as being rather isolated in their (false) sense of superiority , their sense of entitlement and need for power, mostly out of touch with their feelings, competitive, etc. Lets face it, it's men who create wars with their huge egos and need to dominate! Most women can negotiate and be collaborative rather than making war!

Violettham Wed 04-May-22 12:01:29

No I am very lucky always had nice men in my life

Madashell Wed 04-May-22 12:00:22

All I can say is that this is a world dedicated to and run by men despite the pretence otherwise. I think being any sort of human being can be pretty tough.

Bazza Wed 04-May-22 11:54:03

Good grief no!! The female of the species is far superior in every way except brute strength. My husband totally agrees with me, and not just because I say so!
