Would you "come back' as a man?

Assuming the option was available?

Oh without a doubt! My mum always wanted a boy and she had me after having 2 girls and then a stillbirth (which was a boy). I always felt that I was wrong from the beginning with being female. If the choice had been available when I was growing up I would, I think, have gone for gender reassignment. I've never felt right being a girl.
So to be born male would give me the chance of experiencing how that would be.

No! I prefer being a multitasker, something which men find impossible to do.

Marydoll Tue 03-May-22 08:32:19

Absolutely not!

I totally agree, with you Kalu. smile

Hell no, I like being a woman and wouldn’t change for the world.

MissAdventure Tue 03-May-22 08:35:03

I'd quite like to try out "manning" for a while.
6 months or so, perhaps?

I am happy to be female. I've learned to stand on my own two feet having been a long term carer for my husband and have been widowed twice. I can't imagine what it's like to be a man, so I'd settle for what I know.

Grandmabatty Tue 03-May-22 08:38:39

Nope. I like being a woman.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 03-May-22 08:41:17

I like being a woman but my professional life would certainly have been easier if I had been a man. Given the choice I would still come back as a woman though.

I'd like to experience being a man for a while.

Long term though I'll stay as me!

Kalu Tue 03-May-22 08:44:34

Marydoll, ?

Smileless2012 Tue 03-May-22 08:45:16

No.

Well, it would be interesting to view and experience life from a different perspective but I think not.
When I was a child, I was what you call a tomboy. I preferred to play with the boys (marbles, not skipping!), I preferred their toys (Meccano not dolls) and was the first in my peer group to adopt jeans and trousers which I've preferred ever since. As an adult, I liked working with men, especially after experiencing working in an office of catty women, and worked in a male dominated industry.
As a child I occasionally I asked myself whether I would have preferred to have been born a man and the answer was always a resounding no. I never felt I really was a male in a woman's body but with all the talk about gender identification these days, I wonder what I would be thinking if I were a young person now.
It's hard if you feel you are in the wrong body I'm sure, and now people have choices they can make so I'm hoping that's a good thing.

No.

Shinamae Tue 03-May-22 08:48:40

Good lord no!

BlueSky Tue 03-May-22 08:49:50

Whatever. Would life have been any different?

MissAdventure Tue 03-May-22 08:50:24

Massively, I'd say.

JenniferEccles Tue 03-May-22 08:52:13

‘I enjoy being a girl’ ? ?

MissAdventure Tue 03-May-22 08:53:40

There's a cue for a song... smile

Joseanne Tue 03-May-22 09:00:17

No, having to shave every day!

MissAdventure Tue 03-May-22 09:01:26

Oh I'd have a marvellous beard!
I would love that!

Joseanne Tue 03-May-22 09:05:31

grin

I am also happy being a woman. Froglady , your post has caught my attention and I hope you are ok. You are clearly very sure that feel you should be male. I wonder how much that is due to the fact that you knew how much your Mum wanted a boy?
Whatever , I hope you are living a fulfilling life and are able to come to an acceptance of your situation.

I can't imagine being a man but life would have been easier when I was young and had to put up with men behaving badly.
