Jolly good company.
Love to you ALL. Take care of yourselves and each other. I shall be with you again as soon as I'm able.
You did ask. Here is the last sunset in the month of May.
Another quick message from the Cardigan coast before the internet disappears again! We had lunch today with some very old friends (old in years too) who we hadn’t seen since before the pandemic. It was good to see them and lunch was delicious.
Hi all, better news for your friends soop do NOT stop the sunsets, they are stunning.
And further good news for your family Yia maybe I should stash some Percy Pigs for emergenicies!
A day of sun and hefty showers, went out for lunch with a friend, MrJ ‘cooked’ dinner, from the chippy, I’m stuffed.
Have a lovely evening all x
Good evening lovely Kitcheners, just reading through your activities today.
Again a big Thankyou to Soop ?and Baggs? and hoping Baubles is improving daily.?
Soop you must live in such a beautiful place. Your sunset pictures are so beautiful. I’m sorry to hear about your friends husband going through major surgery.
Been over to visit my best friend who had major surgery two weeks ago she’s recovering well at home. Took her some of her favourite chocs.
Today I picked up Mum and dropped her off at her caravan where she’ll stay for a couple of weeks. It does her good there. Trouble is she can’t let the dog out without a lead on because she disappears down rabbit holes little rascal.
We’ve had a few downpours today so the garden is happy and the two waterbutts are full. Hoping the weather is better for the weekend celebrations for everyone.
I need to think about food for family staying over at ours for the holiday weekend. I’m useless at planning. 2 buffets, a curry night and 3 breakfasts mornings so I think I need to make a big list. My eyes are spinning already Help lol
Take care everyone and enjoy your evening. X
Help yourself Kitty!
Thank you again, soop and baggs. Is there anymore news in baubles?
My brother in law appears to have been discharged from hospital after falling downstairs. Last week his daughter was told that he still had a long way to go. To say we are confused is putting it mildly. Maybe they were fed up with him.
I'd like a very big slice of cake pleaE Topsy . I feel I may need it.
Nap over Brook .? Your photos are beautiful Soop. I mean to get to Kintyre some day. Yiayia you should be called Nurse Nancy! Tesco due soon. Adieu kitchen
Not in the least boring soop the sunsets are just beautiful. It still amazes me that wherever we are in the whole wide world we all still see the same sun ?
Wishing your friends DH a very speedy recovery soop and good to hear that your friend arrived home safely after such a long drive through the night
Pleased that the Percy pigs have worked their magic Yia and your DGS feels a bit better. Good news for your DH too ?
Yia Better news of Damian.
brook I fear that I am just a tad boring. I cannot resist the sunsets. I must have hundreds in my file.
My friend's husband has undergone six hours of surgery. She is with him in the hospital. He'll possibly remain there for a further two weeks. When we next speak, she will explain what it was that prompted them to vacate their holiday cottage in the wilds of Wales, and her to drive throughout the night back to their home. We are both mightily relieved.
I have not made progress with the pet portrait. Another day tomorrow...I shall devote time to it. Have been ironing piles of laundry. The bed linen takes an age.
Take care of yourselves.

Yet another sunny end to the afternoon. Oh no! Not more sunset pics.
Nice cake Nannytopsy always the best in this kitchen.
Wonderful views Soop what a beautiful place to live.
Pleased you had a lovely time in Switzerland Brook it is a wonderful place.
Damian is a little better today not in so much pain,I think another bag of Percy Pigs will be on the shopping list.Mr Yia had his eye check yesterday all good.Other eye to be done in about 8 weeks very good service from our local hospital.
It’s a wet and miserable day here chicken and asparagus pie for dinner.
Enjoy your evening all.
Such beautiful pictures soop and amazing that you see those views just from your window ?
The cake is yummy nannytopsy thank you, I’ll just put the kettle on too
There’s always something interesting in those middle aisles grandmabatty and good value too, it’s always tempting to buy something. Hope you get a nap and a good nights sleep later
My two loads of washing are drying outside - it keeps threatening rain but so far it’s held off. The weeds in the garden have had a party whilst I’ve been away and are now spreading all over the place - the garden seems really wet so it must have rained quite a lot here these last few days too
Nannytopsy You most certainly know how to spoil us lot.
Hello, Ladyleftfieldlover
I'm about to play nurse and put three different lots of drops into Mr S's eyes. (allowing five minutes between drops). This occurs four times daily. Certainly for some time yet.
I took more photos of a glorious late evening sky last night. I shall check to see whether or not there's something decent to share with you.
The response to the signing of the card for Baubles is amazing. A lovely lady deserves the best messages from her equally lovely friends.

Sounds delicious Nannytopsy. I'll have a slice thank you very much. I saved lots of money this morning by not buying a solar power water feature from Aldi not an ant thing where you can track ants running around (for dgs1, not me) I may be delaying the inevitable though, as I'm sure to pick them up at the weekend. ? A Tesco delivery later so I'm staying home this afternoon. I'll probably have a nap as I had a bad night's sleep. Have a good afternoon kitcheners.
It’s a good job this virtual kitchen has so many comfy chairs! It also explains why cake disappears so quickly. ?
There’s unlimited Demerara fruit cake on the side.
A very big Thank you to soop and baggs for organising the card ?

Full list coming up in a moment. When the card arrives from Soop, I'll put out a red alert for everyone to check again. I think at the rate we're going I'll need to print the list and paste it into the card! ?
Kitty you have my sympathy! We get our two on Friday, just for the day and weather permitting, we shall go to the owl and bird of prey centre. We get them back again on Monday, this time overnight. It’s why we moved!
So nice to hear about the Queen of the Universe again! I did wonder about you N&G.
WI committee here this afternoon, so dusting and baking to be done! Must go. ?
Hi Baggs, I did ask on Saturday if you’d kindly include my name, but it’s not on the list. It must be close to a nightmare coordinating all the requests to be included, but I’d be most grateful. And thank you!
Please, Baggs, if it's not too late, append my name to the card for Baubles.
Please add my name Baggs.
A lovely idea and thank you for arranging it.
SueD sad to hear your dreadful news, I hope your friend is being helped as much as she can at a dreadful time.
Glad your back safely brook your travelogue was wonderful.
A wet, cold day here, not as much done as I’d have liked, lassitude set in.
Night all x
