Thank you Baggs
Sounds wonderful brook all that lovely mountain air, safe journey home.
Oh Yia that sounds tough for your GS, he must be miserable, hopefully it’ll abate soon.
Hi N&G good to see you ?.
A slower day today, planting beans, their tendrils desperate for sticks and cosmos seedlings, the weather has been mostly cloudy, when the sun came out warmer; jumper on, jumper off.
MrJ off to work again tomorrow, I’ve got admin and cleaning, the minimum I can salve my conscience with.
Hope Urms has had a safe journey, ready for Pasha in her glad rags!
Enjoy your blether soop and all kitcheners your evening too x

26 name so far ?

Gransnet started in the spring of 2011 (May, I think).

brook2704 Sun 29-May-22 17:54:25

Same here nanaandgrsmpy I’m a bit out of touch but just wanted to say hello to all my kitchen pals
We’ve had a beautiful day today at Lake. Wallensee walking in the mountains, a gondola ride up and steady walking down with stunning scenery- just perfect. We stopped for lunch at a typical Swiss mountain restaurant and sat outside admiring the view whilst listening to the cow bells jingling
We’re heading home tomorrow after a lovely few days away with DS and some special memories to treasure
Have a lovely evening everyone
Just noticed your post yia hope your DGS feels much better soon

Menopaws Sun 29-May-22 17:53:59

Soop was definitely on it, but thanks Kittylester, you have been on it for a while too.

kittylester Sun 29-May-22 17:51:16

Menopaws

when did Gransnet begin? I was a founder member of the Argy Bargy. Lemongrove are you still on here, maybe under a different name?

I thing it might have been started 10 years ago.

Good evening dear Kitcheners. How lovely to see so many good wishes for Baubles, this truly a special place. Of course you should be included Neine, it was your good idea! Thanks also to soop and baggs for pulling it all together. We’ve been having a day at home catching up on a few jobs, the weather hasn’t been too good today.

Soop it’s so good to hear of you and MrSoop getting out and about and enjoying life.

Hello Shazza, hope you had a wonderful break.

Have a restful evening everyone, TOYA.

kittylester Sun 29-May-22 17:44:59

Hi, n&g. Hope you are well.

NanaandGrampy Sun 29-May-22 17:41:57

Evening all,

I am totally out of touch with the kitchen although I did try and catch up intermittently.

But thought I would pop in and just say hello and see how everyone's doing. Well I hope.

I'll try and keep up now :-)

kittylester Sun 29-May-22 16:58:10

I don't recall a time without baubles either, shysal.

shysal Sun 29-May-22 16:35:44

Please add my name to the card, Baggs. I think Baubles has been on GN from around the start, as have I. She and her family are in my thoughts.

kittylester Sun 29-May-22 15:51:05

Enjoy your evening soop.

I am 'enjoying' the company of Bertie, Persie (with her arm in a sling!) and Wolfie. We have done jigsaws, made train tracks, crafted and had snacks. They are now having their allotted screen time and I'm having a big sit down and a cuppa!!

Nottingham Forest on TV in a while, that doesn't count as screen time - honest.

It is a glorious day. We have been invited to visit our friends in the village for a catch-up blether. I shall tidy myself and change into something smarter. Long awaited hair trim at the end of the week. I'm finding the "shaggy look" a little over the top right now.

Logging off for today. Tomorrow, before I start the portrait, I shall pop into the kitchen.

Enjoy your evening. smile moon

soop Sun 29-May-22 14:30:00

I have to prepare my so-called art studio. Tomorrow, I don my arty farty hat. A pet portrait to paint. A very pretty girl named Honey.

Yesterday's bake and plant sale raised £1200. That is impressive. Our village is small but there were many willing helpers and buyers.

Shazza One of the gunnera seed heads is about four feet tall. The plants grow so high, that they weave through the lower branches of the trees.

The card for Baubles will read - Thinking of You on the front, surrounded by watercolour flowers. Inside it will have her name printed with the message Get Well Soon...under which - from your Gransnet friends.

If Baggs will kindly add as many names as she can (the card is A4) that would be wonderful. It will take a week and a bit to be ready to post to Baggs address. I think that you would all approve. smile

ShazzaKanazza Sun 29-May-22 09:22:14

I’ve missed so much news with being away for a week but I was thinking of everyone. My head was in my kindle reading the third Bridgerton book. I was trying to have a phone holiday too.
You must have a huge garden Soop that gunera is massive.
Love to all.

aggie Sun 29-May-22 09:14:12

Please add my name to the card , I’m praying for a swift and great recovery for Baubles
It will take teeny tiny writing ! Hope you don’t get writers cramp , thank you Baggs
