the Health forum but how many would read that ?
I was so impressed with the BBC Breakfast team to air the reality of exactly what it means.
No shame, no hyperbole, simply the facts .
My stoma is not reversible but it gave me such a lift to hear the subject broached !
I am well aware that huge thanks have to be paid to Dame Deborah James , without her tireless energy and passion I think the subject would still be the one cancer nobody wishes to talk about.
So people, check your poo !!

I had bowel cancer and had my entire sigmoid colon removed 4 years ago. I don’t have a stoma, it wasn’t necessary as the two ends were rejoined successfully. Having half my bowel missing does bring its own problems though. I do think people should be aware of signs of possible bowel disease.
