Good Morning Everyone,
Its a bright sunny start today here in brackley this morning.
I attended my surgery yesterday for a blood test , decided to exercise and i collapsed again , taken to Hospital ,and released 6 hours later , I seem to suffer with low blood pressure .
I should be going to see a department at the Hospital today if I can get a relative to take me.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all from sunny Harrogate- hoping for a summers day today!
I was absolutely knackered after having a lively dgs yesterday. We took him to soft play where he thought I should be climbing with him! When it was time to go he refused to come out and a bigger girl went in to lead him out!
After he’d gone a friend and I went to pick up display boards from an art club friend.
Good news Urmston something to look forward to
Sorry about your blood pressure collapse Mick it will be interesting to hear what the hospital can do.
It good to know what’s happening about your heart condition Ashcombe
Today it’s Sainsburies delivery and getting a wash going, then just enjoying the warmer weather while it lasts.
Have the best day possible folks

Morning Mick and all from sunny S Hants. Sorry to hear of poorly people and medical smocks.
That’s great news Urms, lovely.
Butchers to pick up bbq meat later, Asda delivery and last plants to put in the garden or pot on.
Have a lovely day all, whatever you’re doing ??

Morning from Majorca, how nice it is to write that, I can still hardly believe I’m on a holiday abroad again, I had quite written off that possibility.

I hope you get to your appointment and that things can be improved for you Mick, these falls and frights must have been so unpleasant.
A shock for you Ashcombe but at least something can be done, hope you don’t need to wait too long.

We went for a boat trip along the coast yesterday and at one point everyone who wished had the opportunity to swim from the boat for a while. They had great fun while granny, needless to say, ‘watched the bags’! A lovely tapas meal later.

Wishing everyone the best day possible ???

Jaxjacky Thu 02-Jun-22 08:25:09

Shocks, not smocks, sorry.

Grandmabatty Thu 02-Jun-22 08:48:37

Good morning all from a sunny Polmont. 10° and very still. Sorry to hear about your collapse Mick. I hope it is sorted for you. Ashcombe definitely not the welcome home you expected! Urms congratulations to the couple. New outfit shopping for you.
I had a lovely time at dgs1 nursery and school picnic. He did too but got a bit overwhelmed when the whole school came out and were running around. Then he fell and bumped his arm so had to show all the teachers. I met the Depute Head who I had worked with in the past. Somehow I appear to have volunteered to help with reading etc. I'm not sure how that happened ?.
Today will be quiet. I might go and investigate the middle aisle at Aldi as I have my beady eyes on a couple of things. Have a good day all.

Asleep since 7, in my chair, in the sun looking out at this lovely scene. Now must get a hustle on and get out to classes. Have a bright sunny day everyone x

Good morning Mick and everyone from a sunny Carlisle.
I hope you can get sorted Mick, I'm not sure what they do for low blood pressure, it's a nuisance for you when it causes these collapses.
I'm planning a busy housework day today and garden work too, the lawn needs mowing...that's the result of feeding it!
On this Jubilee day, I couldn't help remembering the Coronation. We didn't have a television so Mum and I watched it on a neighbour's little black and white TV, Dad was in Korea.

Hopefully, you will not wait too long for the op Ashcombe, I suppose they can't give you a timescale?

Wishing you all a good holiday with plenty of sun.

Good morning everyone from a bright and ?Northampton. Looking forward to watching Trooping the Colour on tv.

Had a lovely coffee morning yesterday, though one of my neighbours is really struggling with the new drugs she's on to treat her (incurable) cancer. Though she had perked up a lot by the time we got home.

In the afternoon attended our well-being cafe jubilee picnic, although it was decided to hold it indoors because of the unpredictable weather. Our table won the jubilee quiz - but there were no prizes!

Expecting a Sainsbury's delivery shortly, so must get my skates on. May cut the grass this afternoon.

Hope you get sorted soon Mick.

Happy jubilee weekend to all!

Good morning all from W Kent, off to art group and hope to catch up with some of the Trooping of the Colour later. We have a beacon being lit tonight round the corner from us I don't think we shall go as DH not really up to walking about in the dark and probably cold by then. No bunting in our area at all!

Hope you get the low blood pressure sorted out soon Mick and Ash the appointment turns up soon as possible.
Best wishes to all.

Good morning from a sunny NE ?
DS and GD2 coming for the day, we will probably go out for a walk.
Yesterday my sister sent me some photos of our elder sister's flat, a bedroom ceiling and wall was covered in black mould, apparently a bathroom leak from the flat above. When they went to check the flat on the ground floor they found that the ceiling had collapsed, a nasty shock for the owner who lives abroad. The spores from the mould are dangerous and it is a big job to be carried out by professionals.
DD got the train to London yesterday, no problem but Eurostar was chaotic and they were late leaving. She is safely home in Brussels after a few days in the UK.
My friend suggested we had lunch out on Friday and I have agreed to go. It is three years since we were able to eat in a restaurant together, illness and lockdown really messed up our socialising.
Sorry to hear of those with health problems.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

GrannyGravy13 Thu 02-Jun-22 09:40:32

Morning all

I am late to the party this morning, due to lack of sleep. My mind is all over the place worrying about things that I have no control over, why do we overthink in the middle of the night?

Will make myself a strong cappuccino and sit down and catch up with all your news.

Wishing you all a joyous Jubilee Day, whatever you are doing??????

Blossoming Thu 02-Jun-22 10:05:15

Good morning Mick and all. It’s bright and sunny in my corner of Lancashire, currently 15°c.

Absolutely nothing planned for today, other than hanging out washing! We shall see what the day brings. The weather is beautiful, fridge and freezer well stocked and nothing urgent to worry about. We are very lucky compared to many.

Hope they get to the bottom of the BP problem Mick. That’s quite a facer Ash but hopefully will resolve some issues.

Congratulations to your daughter and partner Urms.

A warm welcome to any new posters I may have missed.

Enjoy the Jubilee celebrations those of you who are attending an event. Hugs to all who need one.

LauraNorderr Thu 02-Jun-22 10:08:06

Good morning Mick and all from sunny. Anglesey, not a breath of wind nor a dark cloud. Happy Jubilee to you all.
Big 40th birthday party tomorrow for our daughter-in-law amidst the jubilee bunting.
Leicester family on their way over to join the celebrations.
Lovely news for you Urms, lots of hat pictures from you over the next twelve months as we help you choose.
Hope you get your blood pressure sorted out Mick, this collapsing malarkey has been a worry for you for a while now.
Have enjoyed your cruise photos Ash and hope the op happens soon so that you can enjoy another without worries.
Hope the days are gentle for you gMattie and you too can take some pleasure in having ds at home for a while.
Enjoy Majorca Stillearning, lovely to feel the sunshine warming our winter weary bones. Same for all who are enjoying hols from Norfolk to North Wales, from John O’Groats to Ibiza and anywhere between or beyond.
Hope those of you helping daughters through the toughest of times can find a few ??
A flamboyance of ???for all, including Her Majesty

Good morning all from a somewhat dank Algarve where we had torrential rain for much of the night. It’s a little brighter now but the forecasts seem to be that the weather will not really improve until after the weekend. I hope it’s much better in UK for all the street parties that are planned.

I’ve only read the first few posts so far and I’m sorry to see that you collapsed again Michael. At least it is now going to be investigated.
Ashcombe too, not the best news to return to but already there is a plan in place for you.

I hope you are feeling better as well today Marydoll and not as despondent as you sounded yesterday.

I hope everyone has a good day. ???

Litterpicker Thu 02-Jun-22 11:34:01

Good morning from coastal West Sussex. It is bright but breezy with high cloud. Forecast is good.

I have a pavlova in the oven for DDs barbecue later on. I hope it will be alright. I haven’t made a pavlova for decades. The impulse just came over me! I should have done it yesterday of course. DH is at the allotment planting sweet corn and will bring back whatever the wildlife have left us in the way of strawberries.

We will be cat-sitting tonight as DD3 and family are away on holiday. He (the cat) has a pop-up feeder but he does like a bit of company ?

Hope you get to the hospital and they can do something for your collapses Mick. Thoughts with Ash, the GMs, Marydoll and with the non-sleepers - hope tonight is better.

dustyangel I think your rain is heading this way, just in time to soak me on Saturday as I help on a stall at a fete in the park ?
