All crafty GNetters, for bunting, flags, rugs if it's cold.
People with, er, special talents.

Corgis encouraged , and HM doubles especially welcome.

Do join us - bring your contributions nearest and dearest (we won't tell) and help make this a celebration Pigs Trotter Alley won't forget in a hurry.

Well, I'm sorry to say, brook, that Sir Rod like many of us is beginning to show his age and a bit of, er, fading glory?

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 21:32:18

I bought my outfit from my day job, doodle...
These lavs with the crown on the door are proper posh.
Got plenty of ideas for the Argy.

Glad I bought my knitting.
So much of this is wasted on me☹️ As, presumably, with many of the Royals

Peppermint cream, anyone?

Best seats in the house ixion how did you manage that .. budge up Rods back looking very sweaty

Doodle Sat 04-Jun-22 21:18:51

Dressage manœuvres …snigger…it’s that what they’re calling it these days.
I’ll have a pint of poteen for me and a barrel for Jason……
Ooh this is so exciting. I didn’t realise we’d be so close to the action ixion

brook2704 Sat 04-Jun-22 21:17:12

There’s a right crowd gathering round the poteen wagon - Rod has just left says he’s got something on but he’ll be back ..

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 21:14:00

George still awake, then??

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 04-Jun-22 21:09:57

Cor!!! Don’t mind if I do! Lovely!!! ?

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 20:52:54

Reeling in Calling GSM.
Come and have a slurp, luv?

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 04-Jun-22 20:52:03

Oh, we have one of those too. Can’t have just anyone calling at the front door.

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 20:48:05

There's a lady wot has sandwiches in her handbag. Send him round to knock at the door marked ' Tradesmen'.
It's like the one we have at home...

brook2704 Sat 04-Jun-22 20:34:55

Just seen Paddington Bear sneaking around the back looking for the poteen wagon

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 04-Jun-22 20:31:40

No ta. I’ll stick with George.❤️

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 20:26:55

.Poteen wagon is parked discreetly round the back of the posh seats stage left. Help yourselves- I am serving the bands as they come off. Well, actually, I've done now Brian? has been.
Getting on with the raglan sleeves of my jumper til Rod comes on. Or there again, Mr. PB and I might go for a gentle hack to Rotten Row and practice our dressage manoeuvres.

brook2704 Sat 04-Jun-22 20:22:26

Good idea Doodle that should settle the llamas
Couldn’t find Jamie anywhere - think he’s trapped down in the cellar with GG so we won’t see him for ages
Right we’re off…..

Doodle Sat 04-Jun-22 19:46:36

Stand back you young things. I want front seats on the chara and if anyone argues they can deal with my man.
Guess who I’m bringing Jason Mamoa ….that’s right Aquaman in all his glory.
ixion well done on getting the Skylark again.
Wow Brook you look amazing. Very regal. Don’t let the corgis anywhere near you they might think you’re Her Maj,
Laura trust you to come with a good one. Ok back seat for you it is…..just don’t make too much noise back there.
Er Ixion I hate to say this but I do think we need to maintain a bit of decorum. This is the Queen’s Jubilee after all. To arrive mounted on your Peaky Blinder would be a bit uncouff.
Can’t you wait till you get back to the Argy. ?
Yes let’s have Rob along for a bit of humour. Actually he can accompany May Hem. That should keep them both busy.
When are we off Ixion and have you loaded the poteen on the back. I’m surprised Grannygravy and George aren’t with us but you never know what they’re up to these days.
Brook I put some poteen in the llamas milk tonight so I think they should sleep soundly…….if not the Queen might have an unexpected visitor at her performance. You know Alarma.

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 19:43:06

Hmm - Perhaps you'd better have a vote on that?

Could you bring Burley Chassis? Now there'a girl who can belt out a good number!

LauraNorderr Sat 04-Jun-22 19:36:16

Wales have offered Rob Brydon. Any takers?

LauraNorderr Sat 04-Jun-22 19:33:47

True ixion, I forgot just how old Sir Rod is these days.
Looking good brook, keep an eye on the Admiral, he has a penchant for Velcro and poppers.

brook2704 Sat 04-Jun-22 19:32:04

??

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 19:26:31

Good job your young man is athletic, brook. Otherwise he'd never be able to get near you. You really need a banquette with that width.

brook2704 Sat 04-Jun-22 19:22:47

I’m ready …

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 19:22:08

Not that much later, Laura.
He'll have nodded off?

LauraNorderr Sat 04-Jun-22 19:20:01

Bagsy the back seat of the chara with my squeeze du jour, Hugh Jackman, I love an Aussie bit of rough. Think ‘the drover’, phwoar.
Might ditch him later if Penny lets Sir Rod …er… mingle.

brook2704 Sat 04-Jun-22 19:19:30

Oooh the Skylark ! It’s ages since I’ve been in that, hand on a mo I’m almost ready, just need the finishing touches to my outfit ..

ixion Sat 04-Jun-22 19:11:24

Roll up, roll up!
No, not that sort of roll up, don't lower the tone.
All aboard the Skylark?

I do believe it's the same chara that took us darn Sarfend. Ooh, all those scary memories.
