There are no potatoes in my cupboard. Is that what's wrong with my life I have no support potato? (Unless frozen chips count???)

Can I just have the potato then, please, and perhaps some feta and hummus?

Pitta bread and salad, chilli sauce optional..

I love Greek food too VS
I don’t like/ eat meat though, so that probably explains that!

Apparently it was delicious, including the potato.

I fancy having a go at that, kebab night!

Also i cant be the only one who loves a support potato?

Roasts, chips, baked potatoes or mash always make me feel better

DD says that if she could think of a way to cause trouble with a "support potato" she would wink. But no-one would mind about a support potato.... unless it was going mouldy, I suppose.

TTP ? Take The Piss thread.?

FannyCornforth Thu 02-Jun-22 12:01:11

Baggs I must admit that I’m thoroughly confused!
I thought that a support potato might be something to do with mental health.
And what does TTP mean?

Baggs Thu 02-Jun-22 11:55:35

Has anyone else come across this idea?

A DD has told me about a marinated chicken tower, all wrapped in foil, a friend of hers made. There was half an onion at the bottom of the tower, the keystone if you like, and the tower had wooden skewers through it to keep in towerdom.

And then there was a potato at the side because the onion wasn't enough. So, a support (or buttress) potato (à la support animal/daemon).

DD can't remember what the recipe was called.

Anyone?
