Loved uncle Mike’s warning! Wonder whether Louis was sent to bed without supper?
New Limerick Thread II 2016 (following New Limerick Thread)
HMRC slightly angry is an understatement
That was a right old strop prince Louie pulled off watching the parade with poor Kate trying to be firm in the midst of the worlds eyes He pulled faces, he thumbed his nose tried to smack her face a few times I think that he needed the naughty step , I wonder if that’s where he went when they got home He’s obviously ‘the character’ in the family

I only hope all Gransnetters Children and Grandchildren are above redemption and always on angelic behaviour
Mine are shining examples of perfection ?
Fanny I saw a video yesterday of Mike Tindall and his two daughters watching the pageant. The little one gave the older one a whack on the arm. The older one turned on her and I think if it hadn't been for their dad, a full scale fight would have ensued
Sorry, can't stop ...
Image of Boris trying to ignore Louis won't load.
Here.
He he.
^Have you seen the photos of ‘Uncle’ Mike Tindall ticking off Louis?
He behaved for a bit after that.
Well, you would, wouldn’t you?^
For sure!
Just as well Louis wasn't passed to Boris behind him. There would have been merry mayhem. Perhaps two of a kind?!
Sometimes we are too hasty and we see things from the outside. We tend to make assumptions, and I have done so, about other people and their lives, without even giving them a chance.
We need to have empathy with others because it’s only then that we’ll be able to make an informed decision about them, and what they’re going through. Everyone's child is different as we have seen from the dozens of naughty examples given on here. Catherine and Louis between them have made people realise how hard bringing up children actually is, particularly in super charged situations.
Right I'm off to school at 9 am to see some more little monkeys at work. ?
Kids have a sixth sense of when they can get away with stuff.
He realised that his Mum wasn’t going to lay down the law, so he went for it, big style.

Beautiful children, Louis is mischievous like a 4yr old should be.
Glorianny their everyday lives are shielded from the press/public. This was a State occasion to honour his Great Grandma. The majority of her Great Grandchildren were there, some younger than him. They were just as lively, but obviously not that much interest/coverage given by MSMThey are frequently paraded out. Their first day of school is documented and shared publicly. They were brought out to show to crowds within hours of birth. The number of threads about pictures of them or their actions illustrate how much they are scrutinized. It’s a very unfair way to treat children, and they were given no choice in the matter. It’s exploitative whether it’s daily exposure or not.
Absolutely, it’s unfair for posters on here to judge how parents react and/or raise their children.
Far too many judgemental I would have done this/that posts

I don't understand what those who are criticising would like to happen as a result of Louis' behaviour. Should his mother issue a public apology, should he be signed up for lessons in behaviour or should he be removed from future events? It was unfortunate it happened, it was undesirable behaviour, but labelling him a brat isn't fair and saying he deserved a wallop in public would have been completely counterproductive.

I’m not really a child person (perhaps teaching wasn’t the best career choice for me
) but they really are adorable children, all three of them.
What do you want to be when you grow up, George?
I want to be a footballer and play for England!!

I think it was a big ask to expect him to behave over such a long period of time, and it was in a very strange situation. The oldest boy isn’t much of a smiler, very grave.
There are some lovely photos of him laughing and smiling but he's older and has learnt how o sit still.
Perhaps he looked bored, rather than grave.
I agree, my two would have been little horrors if they had been asked to sit for that long, that late, at that age.
My two were pretty well behaved on the whole, but they are children not robots!
I wonder how these three children will feel about their very public exposure at such a young age when they are older. Many would view it as exploitation. Certainly it isn't living a normal life. Who one earth would ever have considered that event as being suitable or engaging for a four year old?
I enjoyed seeing him misbehave. It reminded all of us that our three year old boy isn’t naughty, he’s normal like Louis
I was impressed by the way Kate responded. Very entertaining to see him demand to go to grandpa then wriggle and want to move again. Poor Charles at a similar age, saluting his mummy on return from a long trip away . The royal family is changing ?
I imagine he would've been fast asleep by the time he got home! Kate was no doubt aware they were on camera and however she handled the situation there was always going to be comments and criticism. Perhaps in a private situation things would've been dealt with differently! However, I thought she dealt with things calmly and Louis did remarkably well considering the full on weekend they were having!
