I knew where I stood the day my husband came into the garden and said, 'Hello my darling'. When I turned around I realised he was speaking to one of the hens.

When I was in hospital at Easter it took my 8year old grandson (Who lives with us) 6 days to notice I was missing.

My husband always used to say how gorgeous I looked when dressed to go out. Since retiring I will ask how I look and he will say fine how do I look? My answer I married a man with lovely dark curly hair now I am looking at an older Ross Kemp!

Yes!

I showed DH and he said he loved us all the same but the dog was exceptional ???

My DH has been away for a long week's walk. The greeting I got was good to be back in a well-ordered house where everything works and a handed a pile of dirty washing what's for supper? No mention of nice to see me and he's wandering around wondering why I am being cold with him.
So far I have managed not to tell him.angryThough believe me I will.

I was in hospital feeling quite ill and not too good when I came home.
Husband said “I am so pleased that you are home” . I thought how nice that was…. Until he added “ so I can have a decent dinner cooked for me.”

The dogs always come first, then it is his work. At least he is consistent, has never been romantic

Callistemon21 Sun 12-Jun-22 17:42:23

???

I think the dog used to come first, then the DC, then work, then me!!

Having had a delicious piece of barbecued lamb and a couple of glasses of wine, dh leaned back in his chair and said 'We are very lucky to have such a lovely garden, and beautiful house..................oh, and each other!'

At least I know where I come in his affections!
