Due to have a procedure tomorrow for a “trial” which might help a bit with some of my fine selection of tumours (but most likely to help further the research) and I’m getting a bit anxious about the general anaesthetic. I don’t like the feeling of helplessness when you are wheeled into the theatre. Tell me I’m being daft….
It is quite normal to feel anxious before surgery but honestly you won't feel woozy before, you are literally chatting to one of the team one minute and waking up and being told it's all over the next. Good luck and we'll done for taking part in this type of trial?
