Hi.
I know that I have to see the doc. over this matter so all I am asking here if any other ladies have had this happen to them.
I tested positive for Covid, Tuesday just gone. Although I was pretty bad for a couple of days I am pretty much ok now and will be able to get out and about again on Monday coming.
Thing is, since I took ill, I am having vaginal bleeding - not heavy but enough to cause concern.
I am concerned because I am 73 and had a full hysterectomy back in Sept. 2019. So, obviously, this should not be happening as it's a dead end up there. I do have a pessary, so whether that has anything to do with it. I am also in no pain.
Anyone else experienced this?
Thanks for reading.

Just over four years ago I had similar bleeding. I had an hysterectomy including removal of the cervix in the 1980's. The bleeding was investigated at the hospital and the cause was attributed to scar tissue.
A biopsy was taken too, as a precaution. All clear. No further problems. Hope you too will have a good outcome. Best wishes.

......and she never gives any references for her information, which is a sure sign someone is talking tosh.

All Biscuitmuncher ‘knows’ is derived from the anti-vax rubbish she reads on the internet. She trots this garbage out every time there is a mention of covid. Fortunately we are a sensible lot and see it for what it is.

As to what has brought this bleeding on. I saw my GP about something else. It seemed strange that it had happened suddenly. She explained how things can increase slowly and "invisibly" over a long period, but an unrelated illness can cause the symptoms to become suddenly noticeable.
Obviously the answer here is to see your GP. No need to take advice from someone non- medically- qualified when the NHS seems willing to help.

No,we don’t ‘all’ know. I’d be willing to bet it is actually nothing to do with Covid and it is just that the disease shows up weaknesses in other parts of the body. Definitely needs checking out, Tonbridge . The posts about not having vaccinations are just plain silly. Remember all the bodies in the morgue in Italy before they brought out the vaccinations? People will still die but not nearly so many !

Biscuitmuncher, I know of at least two healthy people, with no underlying conditions, who died from the virus, before vaccinations were available.

Have you considered the consequence of your comment to the OP, by saying what you think has caused her bleeding, you have no idea, unless you are her doctor.
What if she decides not to get checked out on the strength of your reckless and thoughtless comment.

As others have suggested, best to get it checked out Tonbridge. It's difficult not to worry, so better sooner than later. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome. ?

You are a vulnerable person and of course you took the vaccine who wouldn't have done. But what astounds me I'd the relentless push onto healthy people

Marydoll Mon 20-Jun-22 23:08:38

If you are speaking to me, BiscuitMuncher, I can assure you, speaking as someone who at the beginning of the pandemic, was told that I would most certainly die If I contracted Covid, I certainly wasn't tricked.

Four vaccinations and pumped full of anti virals saved my life, when I contracted Covid from my asymptomatic granddaughter.

I am not even sure that you are an antivaxxer, but just someone who enjoys winding up, those who are vulnerable.
You have no credibility at all.

Biscuitmuncher

Do you?

I rest my case! wink

I will ask my question again, Biscuitmuncher. What would you do, if you were CEV, with multiple comorbidities and told that you would most certainly die of Covid without vaccinations?

Would you refuse and probably lose your life or swallow your pride and accept vaccination?

Marydoll Mon 20-Jun-22 22:55:04

When challenged, Biscuitmuncher never responds with any scientific evidence to back her claims.

I asked her a question weeks ago and received no response, just silence.

Biscuitmuncher Mon 20-Jun-22 22:53:13

Do you?

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 20-Jun-22 22:39:16

Do you have any medical qualifications Biscuitmuncher?

Biscuitmuncher was a regular poster on all COVID threads peddling all the antivaxxer tosh.

You need to go to see your doctor, personally possibly nothing to do with Covid & just a coincidence happened about the same time ... things like this always get checked out

Mapleleaf Sat 18-Jun-22 22:23:24

It could purely be coincidence, Tonbridge and nothing at all to do with you having covid. Contact your GP, they will refer you and then hopefully you’ll get some answers.

Biscuitmuncher how can you possibly know this? Comments such as yours, without proper medical backup to support them, are downright dangerous.

Thank you for all your contributions. I will be phoning my doctors on Monday to make an appointment.
Not sure about the vaccine as the last vaccine I had was back in November last year. Definitely something to do with Covid, though.
Best wishes to all.

Secondwind Sat 18-Jun-22 21:57:21

Please don’t think I’m nagging Tonbridge49, but it would be a good idea go and see your GP as soon as possible. Just to be on the safe side.smile

covid and the vaccines have caused bleeding and disruption of periods but you must go to your DR and get it checked x
