Corona Virus causing unexpected/unexplain ed problem.

Yes, about five years after my hysterectomy (late 40s) I started to bleed every month, it was quite light.
Went to docs who sent me for hospital checks.
It was found that I still had cervical scarring so they operated and took away as much as they could.
No problems since. I am now in my late seventies.

Well that's interesting, silversurf. I will mention that to my doctor when I see him. Strange how the Covid has set it off, though. Thanks so much for your reply.

I had some post menopausal bleeding after my Covid vaccines. Was referred to gynae for a scan of the uterus lining and all was normal. Definitely speak to your gp.

It might be nothing to do with covid. Do please get this checked out ASAP.

How strange. This should always be checked but even in pre menopausal women covid and the vaccines have caused menstrual problems. I think things are being discovered all the time.

Not sure about the vaccine as the last vaccine I had was back in November last year. Definitely something to do with Covid, though.

It could purely be coincidence, Tonbridge and nothing at all to do with you having covid. Contact your GP, they will refer you and then hopefully you’ll get some answers.

Biscuitmuncher how can you possibly know this? Comments such as yours, without proper medical backup to support them, are downright dangerous.

You need to go to see your doctor, personally possibly nothing to do with Covid & just a coincidence happened about the same time ... things like this always get checked out

Four vaccinations and pumped full of anti virals saved my life, when I contracted Covid from my asymptomatic granddaughter.

I am not even sure that you are an antivaxxer, but just someone who enjoys winding up, those who are vulnerable.

Have you considered the consequence of your comment to the OP, by saying what you think has caused her bleeding, you have no idea, unless you are her doctor.
What if she decides not to get checked out on the strength of your reckless and thoughtless comment.

As others have suggested, best to get it checked out Tonbridge. It's difficult not to worry, so better sooner than later. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome. ?
