no for me.. bad likenesses bad painting and absurd lighting on her breasts.

I know I shouldn't but I can't resist it. Do you think there is some connection between one hand straying behind her back and the other one stuck in his pocket??? (Naughty, Naughty Glorianny !)
Does anyone know where it is going to hang (in an attic somewhere???)

Awful. Kate should have Worn blue it’s her colour. Williams head seems to come in narrow at the ears making his head a weird shape.

Absolutely ghastly! Too old fashioned and stuffy and doesn't even look natural, just an enlarged photo.. This is a young modern couple trying to bring the Monarchy 'up to date'. There were many other poses that would have been more natural and suited to them. Such a pity.

Not too keen. It's more like a painting that's trying to be a photo. Kate's face and hair don't look like her. Would probably look more at home in Madame Tussaud's..

It certainly doesn't highlight the fact that they are, apparently, the new, young, modern face of the monarchy, to me.
It wouldn't look out of place with all the other fusty old portraits that hang around the palace walls.

I think the toelessness due to shoe being so high her foot is like a ski slope- mark my words that girl is heading for orthopaedic hell! Painting doesn’t do them justice IMHO

Not for me, it's the dress and shading she looks as if she has undergarments we jokingly called K2's at school.

It sounds much better in that description than it looks in the portrait, I think.

I thought the material of the dress was velvet but it is metallic and that is why it is shiny.

Not a huge fan of it. I think the mixed composition is a mistake: royal portraity background with a fluted column (which could, of course, be concealing a drain pipe) but a semi casual pose from the Duke - hand out of your pocket! Don't slouch! - and the Marilyn Monroe/sheepdog bra (rounds them up an points them in the right direction) look from the Duchess.

I’m with pinkprincess in this, I too think it’s awful. Apart from the leg and bosom issue, I don’t think that it looks anything like Kate’s face. I’m no Royalist, but this does neither of them any favours.

I feel for Jamie Coreth. Having his work trashed by all and sundry in the press and social media.

Just looked and seen he's worth between 5 and 10 million dollars so I don't feel too bad for him
