Good morning Mick and all. It’s sunshine and showers in my corner of Lancashire, currently 16°C.

Things didn’t go to plan yesterday, the Healthier You zoom meeting was cancelled at the last minute and has been rescheduled for next week. Unfortunately it was too late by then to arrange anything else, so I just pottered.

Today I have a telephone call with a cancer support nurse. It’s the second one I’ve had and I think she goes through a standard list of questions and ticks them off. I must ask how much longer the follow ups will last as I’m almost 5 years post surgery now.

Housework and usual physio exercises later.

I’m running late today so will read the thread properly later.

Positive thoughts to those going through difficult times. May today be a good one for us all, with a ?or ??along the way.

I just wanted to pop in and say how sorry I am to read your post this morning grandMattie, it is just so painfully sad. I'm sure your presence brings your DH great comfort, you are together, as you've always been.

I'm full of covid germs, so won't stay too long. Hoping you all find some peace and comfort today.

Rain overnight here in Oxfordshire and the weather still hasn’t made its mind up.
Have made more to do lists, wide awake at 3am. MasterOops is coming up tonight from the South West to go to the University open day and MrOops and I are taking him around to where he needs to be, I hope there are plenty of loos around the Faculties! Must start packing to go away as well.
Granmattie my heart goes out to you, but your dear husband knows that you are with him and that he is much loved.? and a virtual hug for you both.

Good morning everyone from a cloudy/sunny south coast. So many awful challenges on this thread this morning. There is so little I can say other than try and take of yourselves. I didn’t and it cost me dear.

Washing and food shop on the agenda for this morning then another afternoon watching the tennis. Why does watching TV in the daytime make me feel guilty?

The district nurses and hospice are joining forces to sort out package for DH. I had absolutely promise DH that I would keep him home - and trust I have kept that promise. He is mostly calm though gets worried about imaginary things, he is now being given drugs for that.
Things are OK, just rather sad and lonely atm. ❤️❤️

There are no words Grandmattie but lots of love and support for you and hoping your dear husband however many days he has at least they are peaceful. ??

To dearest grandMattie: you and your DH have gone through so much in the past year that it's a cruel blow that you are going through such sadness now. My heart goes out to you and I offer prayers for you both.

Grandmattie, I don't post here but am following your posts. Can't pass by without sending you my thoughts. I am so sorry and sad for you , you are going through so much with such fortitude. I hope you hear from the hospice very soon today, I can understand how alone you feel. Not much comfort I recognize that ,but I and many others here are thinking of you , your DH and all your family.
