?♥️ to GM and family you are in all our thoughts.

Mick do hope your health issues can be quickly resolved with a change in medication.
Maybe a few days of rest until your Dr can solve things for you.
Pleased to hear Kitty's daughter is due home later today, may she get back on track for a speedy recovery although her treatments will leave her feeling one step forward two back.
Marydoll so sorry you are still in GN sickbay.
?? for all with illness and worry.
Quiet day after childcare day yest Age now tells as we collapse on sofa once all DGC have left and can be asleep within half an hour.It is quite hectic whilst they are here but love to hear of their days and the constant banter between them. They are creeping up to high-school ages and I realise things will change so I savour these days and hope they recall the memories.

Also meant to say what a relief it must be that your DH’s operation was successful Kalu. I hope he recovers well and is back home with you soon.

Good morning from sunny Leicestershire.

Many congratulations to your DD Mattie on getting the job. My thought are with you all but feel the love you all have for each other.

Good luck today at the doctors Mick.
Oh dear poor you Mary it is one thing after another. I hope you feel better soon - getting to see a specialist is a plus though and I hope she can improve things.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Good luck with the GP this afternoon Mick?? I’ll be thinking about you.. The sun has broken through in South Yorkshire. My aquacise class yesterday was good but left me full of aches and pains! The instructor takes no prisoners! Perhaps I should just stick to swimming. Ironing this morning and then if it stays dry I will cut the front lawn.
GM many congratulations to your DD, and glad that your family are all together at the moment?.
Kalu glad to hear your DH came through his surgery ok!
Have the best day you can folks.

Grannmarie Thu 30-Jun-22 08:16:28

Kalu, great news of your husband's successful surgery, I'm glad that you have family with you.

Marydoll, I'm so sorry that you are so unwell, I'm hoping and praying that you can avoid hospital if at all possible, and feel much better very soon.

Baubles, wishing you well for your continued recovery.

Thinking of all with worries, illness or sorrow.

Happy travels to those on holidays or visiting grandchildren.

Thank you for your kind wishes for DH, he is still very weak and sleeping a lot, but he'll have to stay awake this afternoon as we have his follow up out patients appointment at our local hospital.

Have the best Thursday possible. ?

Here’s Matt.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where the heavy rain woke me in the early hours again. It was torrential! Dry now but seems chilly. I have an appointment for a manicure mid morning and later we pick the grandchildren up from school to give them a quick snack then off to their swimming lessons.

Another here with thoughts of you and your son and daughter grandMattie keeping vigil together. At such a time we are never so fully engaged with what it means to be human.

Congratulations too for your daughter she has achieved much at such an emotional time.

Marydoll your health concerns have flared again sadly but your humour still shines through! Get well soonest. And good luck Mick at your GP appointment this afternoon. Enjoy your family reunion Beechnut four years is a long time, no wonder you feel emotional.

Grandmadinosaur Thu 30-Jun-22 07:57:36

A quick good morning from the Black country.
Just wanted to send a ? for grandMattie and her family. Will read through later.
Enjoy your day everyone and may you all find some ?.

grandMattie Thu 30-Jun-22 07:51:47

So glad all went well yesterday, kalu.
Marydoll, be a good girl and listen to your “betters”! Hope you improve quickly. We need you! X❤️

Stilllearning Thu 30-Jun-22 07:50:55

Morning from the edge of S Lanarkshire where it is nice and sunny. Just want to send prayers and support to grandMattie and family today. You are in my thoughts.

So glad to read your good news Kalu, that makes everything feel a little brighter.

baubles that was a beautiful evocative picture yesterday. It seemed to express perfectly the mixed emotions and importance of this stage in a child’s life.

Meeting my lovely sister in law for a special lunch today, she is a great friend and I am looking forward to it very much.

Best wishes to all ???

Nannagarra Thu 30-Jun-22 07:50:42

Good to learn your son and daughter have arrived to be with your DH and support you both. Sending a hug and much love Mattie. ?

GrannyGravy13 Thu 30-Jun-22 07:50:25

Morning all

It’s overcast here in S E Essex, waiting for the drugs to kick in and just pottering, which is frustrating as I have so much to do.

grandMattie my thoughts and prayers are for you and your family at this sad time, I do hope that all stays peaceful and serene.

Tomorrow is the beginning of my birthday month along with that of several family members, my very first cruise, The Officers Summer Ball with our eldest son and his wife, childcare duties as they finish for the long summer break.

I have decided to cut down on my GN addiction in order to concentrate on family.

I will pop in to see how you all are, might not post, take care and be good my good morning friends.

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Grandmabatty Thu 30-Jun-22 07:48:05

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 10° and very damp. It's not prepossessing. Grandmattie well done to your daughter. It must be comforting to have your family with you. Susan good luck on the journey. I hope things go well. Ashcombe the play sounds wonderfully funny. Kalu it's good news to hear about your husband. A long operation indeed! Marydoll as if you didn't have enough to contend with! ?
Yesterday's visit to mum was good. She was dressed and bright. We blethered about Elvis and Queen, her favourite musicians, and tennis. Then I had coffee with a friend who has organised a birthday treat for me in September. We are going to Pitlochry to the theatre and staying overnight in a nice hotel. It is such a nice thing to look forward to. Then I visited dd and the boys in the afternoon. Dgs1 is struggling with a nasty ear infection, dgs2 is teething and DD has a trapped nerve in her shoulder so it was a challenge to remain cheerful. We did go to the park for some fresh air.
Today I'm staying home. I have a tesco delivery later and I think dd is coming to me. It's quite difficult for her as sil is on night shift and needs to sleep so keeping the boys quietly entertained is a challenge. Have a good day all.

BlueSapphire Thu 30-Jun-22 07:44:14

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny sunshine Northampton. Just sorted some washing for the machine and put the food waste bin out.

grandMattie thinking of you and your beloved DH today. May you feel strengthened by the presence of your family.

A good book club yesterday with prosecco and chocolate cake, as it was someone's birthday.

The list of excursions for my cruise arrived yesterday, so I shall book my chosen ones online this morning.

A Sainsburys delivery then an early lunch followed by two dance classes. Health walk this evening, and dinner at the pub.

May the sun shine on all today.

Gwenisgreat1 Thu 30-Jun-22 07:42:43

Good morning all from sunny Harrogate
I’m glad you have support from your family at this difficult time GrandMattie, but so pleased your DD has been offered the job.
Yesterday I had an early start going sketching on a sheep farm!! It was very interesting. The sheep were quite curious as to what our group were doing there. Our tutor has a studio on the farm. It was a lovely setting. I tried to do a watercolour which I’m not proud of. But I was interested in the techniques she used for acrylics.
Today a delivery from Sainsburies and later a hospital appointment for a premed before my procedure in 3 weeks
Have the best day possible folks

ShazzaKanazza Thu 30-Jun-22 07:41:30

Good Morning from Hull. I’m still in bed so not sure what it’s like out.
I heard rain through the night.

I was thinking about you grandMattie through the night every time I woke up. I was so happy to hear about your daughters good news. It’s comforting to having your DC with you as you all surround your DH with such love. Sending you all our love from myself and my DH ??

Pittcity Thu 30-Jun-22 07:41:05

Good morning from an overcast Colchester. Showers on and off yesterday and humid. Looks to be the same today.
Housework and shopping today. DH thinks we should walk to Lidl because of the price of petrol. I have countered him with the chance of rain....we shall see.
Sending love to all, especially Grandmattie, Kalu and Marydoll ?x

Oopsadaisy1 Thu 30-Jun-22 07:40:20

Good morning from a sunny Oxfordshire. masterOops arrived at midnight after road closures in Cornwall, I now need to shake him awake to get to Oxford to sit in on some taster sessions, but we need to get through the rush hour traffic first.
Hope you start to feel better soon Mick,Marydoll, Chrissielou.
kalu I hope your DH improves quickly to get back home.
Granmattie my thoughts are with you and your lovely family, well done to your DD, she did well as her thoughts must have been elsewhere.
Virtual hugs for anyone I haven’t mentioned and let’s hope the rest of us find something to cheer us today.

Gingster Thu 30-Jun-22 07:38:06

Good morning all and as Sar says it’s grey and damp out there.

GM - love to you all ❤️.

Bowls group for me this morning, Dh to the dentist and Financial Adviser here this afternoon, to discuss our wealth (or lack of it) ?.

DGD 2 has her Prom this evening, so we are going round to see her in her finery and wave her off with boyfriend in a Mazaratti. What fun but what a lot of baloney! The twin boys decided they wouldn’t bother but will have an after party with their friends. ?

Take care all and hope your travels, appointments etc go well.
