Who dusts all those shelves and the pots and dishes on them?

I hate the Specsavers ad, where the old man keeps dancing. (I think it’s Specsavers)

The one that drives me mad is Harry Rednapp on LBC telling everyone to ‘gamble responsibly’ those two words do NOT go together you can’t gamble responsibly. If you are responsible you won’t gamble and if you do gamble then your irresponsible

I enjoy hearing Judy Dench’s voice.

I smile at the dancing old man. He seems so much cheerier than a lot of the older people in ads (and the vacant ones advertising mobility aids with bland surroundings and permasmiles).

I can't bear the ones with smiling mums in pristine white clothing in pristine white kitchens where a pristine toddler dressed in white is smearing or dropping something on her newly disinfected white floor, and she shakes her head affectionately and redoes it.

Also the ones that tell us that everything is alive with bacteria and needs to be disinfected regularly - clothes, furnishings, surfaces - nothing is safe from GERMS ?

You only seem to start to enjoy a programme and then the adverts come on. The majority of them drive me nuts, Go Compare especially, but I do love the dog on the AA one. The ones selling alarms or insurance have the worst actors ever.

Oh and let’s not mention Numan and erectile dysfunction! Why can’t they have an ‘after the watershed’ rule for that?
We’re watching reruns of Death in Paradise, which, although they were BBC, with no adverts, now have adverts including the ED one. DH suggested that it’s perhaps a warning that if you’re travelling somewhere hot like St Marie you might have problems.

The toothpaste ones where whoever speaks is slanted at a diagonal.

The car ones with Phillip Schofield. Surely he doesn't need the money smile

No, and Carol Vorderman doesn't need a funeral plan.

The ones that irritate me are the ones with manic people dancing around and giggling about some ordinary product.
