Good morning, all from sunny Crewe.

The dance show was wonderful with contributions from every age group from 3 -18. My DGD, aged nine, was in in 10 of the 31 dances and performed beautifully, at times with older students. A memorable evening.

Today DH and I will travel back to Torquay; I hope the a/c is working on the train as it is going to be hot again. Safe travels to MawtheMerrier and I hope you can grab a nap at some point, grandMattie. Wishing a good week to you all.

Good morning Mick, I enjoyed watching the TdF yesterday. It was an interesting stage, wasn’t it?
Nothing much happening today apart from the carpenter returning to carry on with the renovations and a WI meeting this afternoon.
Too hot to think about doing anything really; I don’t like the heat at all.

Good morning from another warm, bright day in E Kent.
Rubbish night, awake at silly o’clock. A shame as today is going to be very busy. The cleaner comes for two hours, the Gardner for one, the priest taking DH’s funeral is visiting in the early afternoon.
Then I’ve got the 4 hour cooking of the goose and DGS and the woman priest, who use to come to give DH communion, are joining us for it. I must try and factor a nap somewhere in there.
Be obedient those who should (!), and have a good day, one and all.
Carpe diem ?????

Good morning Mick and all to come - another hot one indeed.
I am off to London to spend a few days with youngest D and the little boys as my SIL is in Japan for 10 days. I wish I could have persuaded her to come up here though as London will be even hotter.
(Good thing I am going by car as the Dyson fan is coming with me! )
Wishing you all a gentle and peaceful day. ??
