Neck fan…

I have one and do use it when I remember. It’s true that they are quite noisy, but they are effective. Mine has some sort of AI that detects how hot you are and adjusts the cool air accordingly. I’m not sure I’d bother with that if I were buying another one- it was expensive and I can’t say it makes much difference. They are great on transport - I’ve used mine in the car, on a bus and a train as well as in the house.

My daughter gave me a cheap version of that as one of my b’day gifts one year. It’s lovely, really works, but it is a bit noisy, plus it needs recharged very quickly if you have it on the highest speed.
