Whether very occasional or not, what’s yours?

A ‘very occasional’ one of mine came to mind since I just nipped to the corner shop for onions, needed for dinner* tonight, and (feeling peckish anyway) succumbed to curry flavour instant noodles - two packs! I’m about to scoff one for lunch.

*a very healthy Greek style green bean and tomato stew, now in the slow cooker.

A home made Victoria sandwich sponge made with all butter - no margarine - filled with thick jam and whipped double cream.........with luck it lasts the weekend.

In what world is that junk food?

Just a chocolate milkshake from the place next to Santa Monica Pier. So thick and chocolatey I'd just have one for lunch every day. Never tasted such a wonderful milkshake. ?

Another occasional filet of fish fan here, especially in France. Last time we were there you could order a double filet-made up for the fact that they seem to have got thinner.

Burger King quarter pounder with cheese and fries, plus Gregg's sausage rolls.

pandapatch Thu 21-Jul-22 16:02:12

In the summer milkshakes made with ice cream and in the winter hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows - and lots of other things mentioned - KNEW I shouldn't have read this!!!

GagaJo Thu 21-Jul-22 15:45:18

Totally artificial and bad for you

GagaJo Thu 21-Jul-22 15:44:53

Banana milkshake from Macdonald's. Thank God I no longer have a car and can't get them.

Jaxjacky Thu 21-Jul-22 15:09:03

Georgesgran my favourite, always has been, now you’re tempting me.

Charleygirl5 Thu 21-Jul-22 15:08:40

French fries cooked in my air fryer- perfect.

Salted caramel ice cream on a stick and more than one but spaced throughout the day. Perfect for this hot weather.

Fish in crispy batter and chips. The fish is good for me but little else. I do not like ketchup so that is a minor saving.

AGAA4 Thu 21-Jul-22 15:05:50

Vanilla slices. Love them but avert my eyes when I pass them in M & S.....mostly.

Callistemon21 Thu 21-Jul-22 15:02:20

A chip buttie
With white farmhouse sliced and proper butter.

Davida1968 Thu 21-Jul-22 15:00:53

Chips, chips, chips....! (Proper chips - not skinny fries.)

Callistemon21 Thu 21-Jul-22 15:00:34

Triple cooked chips! ?

Ooh yes, and cod in batter.

Fish is good for you, btw ?

Some people seem to have a funny idea of what constitutes 'junk food'...

Sago Thu 21-Jul-22 14:56:39

Just broke our journey to the Lakes with a fish and chip stop.

Delicious.
