This beautiful teenage boy was beaten and tortured for months at the hands of his mother and lover I hope they not only rot in prison for ever but they are beaten till they beg themselves

Something HAS to be done to protect our children I don’t believe in the death penalty but there has to be something more than a few years of being ‘looked after’

No but at least they'd get a taste of their own medicine.

Rehabilitation won't bring that child back. It's easy for offenders to say 'I won't do it again' or 'I am full of remorse' or 'I have turned to God'. Not good enough.

What do you suggest, then? Violent punishments won’t bring them back, either.

Not in the least Grandna70 I ve never hurt anyone in my life but I d have a go if a child’s life was being destroyed
I ve really no idea what you mean
Are you defending child killers ? WOW

Of course not. My turn to say “Don’t be silly”. I said absolutely nothing to indicate I was defending them.

Why I mean is that it’s clear many people have violent feelings, though they direct them differently. Violent revenge gets you nowhere, just takes you down to their level. Rehabilitation is better if possible, otherwise strict confinement. No need to add extra nastiness to that to satisfy feelings of revenge. We are, I hope, not that primitive.

No I'm not worried either. I don't think that wanting life to be for life in the absence of the death penalty in cases like this, is being vicious.

Chestnut Sat 23-Jul-22 17:20:05

The child(ren) not only lost their life and future but suffered most horribly. I agree these creatures should have no luxuries or visits, plain food, solitary confinement most of the time, no TV or internet access at all, ever. They can have some books.... let them read godly, pure things just to annoy them. The Bible, Pilgrim's Progress, what else?

Mollygo Sat 23-Jul-22 17:05:47

Not worried. The difference I'd not use that sort of violence . . . unless someone attacked my children or grandchildren.
I do think that the ‘human rights’ of people who do that sort of thing especially to children need to be curtailed. No free time, no choice of meals, no visits, no luxuries like TV etc. It seems so unfair that that child will have nothing, no future, no life and the perpetrators simply get their liberty removed.

Aren’t some of you worried by your own vicious feelings? You should be. They clearly show how such inhuman violence happens.

Not remotely worried. I hope they rot in hell.

Not worried here

R.I.P Sebastian.
I hope they get what they deserve in prison if you know what I mean.
Life should mean life.

I don’t think a death penalty is the answer what punishment is that, over and done with in minutes
This sounds medieval but they should have done to them what they did to the child They should have their bones broken and needles stuck in them they should be shut in a room for 24 hours a day no exercising and that monster should not be able to go to the prison gym or yard or use any equipment… left over food on a tray in their cell Yes their human rights should be hurt because they are not human They took everything away from that poor little lad he sounds as if he had no other family here
juicyLucy I may be wrong but I don’t think this lad was known to the social services you can’t blame them for everything

MissAdventure Sat 23-Jul-22 16:28:47

That is what happened to the little soul who cried that nobody loved him.
He was forced to maintain stress positions for hours and hours, while his parents filmed themselves stuffing their ugly mouths with McDonalds.

tickingbird Sat 23-Jul-22 16:25:47

The man has proposed to her and apparently her response was “yes, yes, yes”. They shouldn’t be allowed to marry. I was going to say I hope they go the way of little Daniel Pelka’s torturers and kill themselves but that’s no punishment.

Another case where, amongst other abuse, the bully boy partner forces the child to do gym exercises as punishment. Almost like being punished in the army by a sadistic drill sergeant. These men are sadistic bullies and the women are pathetic, useless and selfish. I can’t tell you how much I hate them.

Curlywhirly Sat 23-Jul-22 15:49:48

Can't read the details, I know I'm a coward, but I just wouldn't be able to put it out of my mind. Where were the neighbours in this? Surely someone must have heard the screams and arguments? I'd be knocking on their door and asking what on earth was going on and I'd be speaking to teachers, SS and the NSPCC. I couldn't live next door to parents tormenting their children and do nothing!

Smileless2012 Sat 23-Jul-22 15:39:58

They should never get out mokryna. They are not fit even for human company. For me, as we don't have the death penalty, life should mean life.

mokryna Sat 23-Jul-22 15:28:58

When they do get out they should be sterilized and that goes for all child abusers.

Shinamae Sat 23-Jul-22 15:26:52

I really believe that the death penalty is too good an end for these monsters who abuse and kill their own children, well any child killers (Ian Huntley springs to mind). I would open up dungeons or build new ones and there they would spend the rest of their life never seeing the light of day and having the really basic food to keep them alive, bread water porridge whatever and I would even make them sleep on straw!…

Chestnut Sat 23-Jul-22 15:21:43

Exactly MissAdventure. People of his age who commit such brutal crimes are not going to be rehabilitated. They are fully grown adults who are capable of the worst cruelty imaginable. It's in their memory banks, in their DNA, they will never be safe to live in the outside world.

MissAdventure Sat 23-Jul-22 14:37:29

Thats the bloody problem.
Life should mean life.
These people aren't going to suddenly realise they were wrong and be magically rehabilitated.
They need to be kept out if harms reach, for their sake and the sake of those whose paths they may cross when they're let out

Kandinsky Sat 23-Jul-22 14:24:48

They’ll be out in 10 years to carry on with their lives. angry
