Such a twit! Second cookery screw-up recently.

Gosh they sound uber sweet if you’re adding sugar to syrup Witzend!

The ones I should have made are not over sweet at all, no more than any other biscuits anyway.
Only 3 level tbsps of GS to
3 oz oats
3 oz SR flour
3 oz butter or marge
1 tbsp milk
And the 3 oz sugar that I forgot.
I usually add some lemon zest, too.

They sound scrumptious ?

Could you put an icing topping on them to sweeten them up?

Or stick two together with melted chocolate or butter cream.

Brilliant idea! A drizzle of icing squiggled on top and they'll look like high end "cookies".
