Good morning from a dull mid Devon but warm, even in my normally chilly static!

My plan had been a weekend of R and R ahead of the arrival of DH and busy times to follow. I hadn’t realised that Chagstock music festival was on this weekend, just a two minute drive from the site! It was on throughout the day and ended at 1.00 am!! Good thing I’m deaf!

It’s good to hear you’ve slept better, grandMattie and your DS had an interesting day out.

It’s lovely how grandchildren are so natural in what they say, Grandmadinosaur, giving us moments to treasure.

Every blessing today. ?????

Morning Mick, morning All from a cloudy corner of Somerset

A most welcome rain shower yesterday - immediately after Mr C had watered. Not quite so dry out there. Anticipate a day of messages and calls to snd from our goddaughter. Other than that a visit planned to one of ours, let’s hope the motorways will be good to us

Thinking as ever of those facing life’s challenges. Hope Sunday is kind to us all.

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s a grey sky and quite breezy.

I’m feeling tired this morning from my shopping trips yesterday and painting the floor in the shed. Just needs a second coat and it’s finished. I’m going to take it easier today though and make the fairy costume for Beechnutella now that she’s chosen from my stash.

Yesterday I bought some Babycham. That was a blast from the past. Me and my friend used to drink it with brandy.

Enjoy your roasts all ?

Good morning from an overcast E Kent. It is pleasantly cool this morning. Rain? No such luck…
I had a better night, not waking up hourly as is my wont, so feel better.
Church first thing - it’ll take me awhile to return to the big mid morning service with the full Monty. Small steps…
The rest of the day will be spent, like yesterday, moving my leaky hose round the garden. It is at least 3 weeks since I last watered - we probably have a hosepipe ban, but not sure.
DS had a lovely walk yesterday, following the “white cliffs” from Folkestone to Dover. He discovered the Napoleonic defences and citadel etc., on the Western Heights in Dover. As a historian, he was very interested. There also are remains of a Roman Pharos.
May today bring nothing but contentment. Carpe diem. ?????

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I haven’t looked out of the window so there might have been a massive snowfall overnight! I think today will be pretty leisurely. All the papers to read and roast chicken dinner to cook for tonight. I have a few emails to reply to. Next week promises to be busy, culminating in clearing out various rooms ready for the decorator a week Monday. I mentioned to one of my sons the other day that we had chosen the paint colours but that it could be a surprise when he next visits. He and my other son’s partner have been very ‘helpful’ with their suggestions so I’d rather wait now until it’s all done! ??? for so many of you with difficulties.

Good morning all from a wet East Yorkshire. That was a surprise when I looked out the window!

We had a lovely day at the beach with GS yesterday. The place we usually go to for lunch has had a refurb and doesn’t do the proper fish and chips any more which was disappointing but I had scampi instead. I got some lovely footage of GS on a kiddie ride in a pirate boat and him chatting to me!
We had checked his parents were back from Durham before taking him home. As we pulled into there driveway he said “Grandma can I stay with you a bit longer”
Gosh that pulled at my heartstrings and when I got in it upset me. It still does. Silly me.

No plans for today especially not now with the rain. I have an order to collect from M&S so will probably do that and have a coffee there.

Take care everyone.
