Well done those ladies.. Not new thought..
We have done this .. Buying same shirts for our men as a holiday treat. Even when it just a few couples they are given a Tee shirt or usually a shirt totally over the top to wear.
People's reactions are brilliant.

I wonder if those men now understand how women feel when they arrive at an event, party, restaurant etc and see another woman in exactly the same dress.

I am sure many of us have been there, it happened to me on a cruise a few years ago; I just wanted the deck to swallow me up!

At our granddaughter's 1st birthday party in May, my nephew (40) turned up wearing the same red plaid shirt as my husband (73). It didn't take long for my nephew to take his off - luckily he was wearing it over a t-shirt. I'd bought it for DH for Xmas, as had my nephew's wife. My DH wasn't bothered in the slightest.

A few years ago in Vietnam my husband, as a souvenir, bought a banana shirt. I bought half a dozen more for son, SIL and nephews. A few months after it was Euro/World Cup football game and SIL had a party I told everyone to wear the banana shirt, told my husband to wear his and he walked in and burst out laughing. Since then its a running joke that any occasion they all wear these awful shirts.
