A few days ago, there were several reports of seeing a Jersey Tiger moth on my local Nextdoor website, and today I was delighted to see one too!
They used to be classified as Scarce, but have been much more common in recent years, especially in the South (I’m in Surrey).
Two photos, one where it is on my patio doors (excuse my reflection!) where it still sits nearly two hours later.
They are such handsome insects, and seeing it has made my day!
