Hi,I've seen one too, down in North Devon where I live, working in the Torrington 1646 gardens as a volunteer. It was very pretty, and having no idea what type of moth it was ,I looked it up.

Really distinctive markings, If I ever see one I will know what it is now. Lovely photo.

How lovely !
I think that it would make a good lino cut print or an ink drawing !
Thank you for sharing it with us .

It is very beautiful, and I have never seen one before.

My son recently had one in his garden near Windsor.

Mainly the Channel Islands, Namsnanny. They have become more common recently, mainly in the South West.

I did see one many years ago, when on holiday in Guernsey.

Yes, Thank you for that lovely photo.
What unusual colouring it has.
Does it actually live primarily in Jersey, do you know?

A few days ago, there were several reports of seeing a Jersey Tiger moth on my local Nextdoor website, and today I was delighted to see one too!

They used to be classified as Scarce, but have been much more common in recent years, especially in the South (I’m in Surrey).

Two photos, one where it is on my patio doors (excuse my reflection!) where it still sits nearly two hours later.

They are such handsome insects, and seeing it has made my day!
