Good morning all from sunny Harrogate
We have been watching some of the cycling on telly, too, Mick
Yesterday we had a lovely afternoon with DD1. Who loves entertaining! Her in laws were there including her 18 year old nephew who DGD adores. DGS loves dressing up in DGDs dressing up clothes. DD1 enjoyed her belated birthday ? cake.
Today I will endeavour to go to church and may read a bit more of my book this pm
Have the best day possible folks

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Hot and dry is the default weather here. My tomato and courgette plants are demanding constant watering but are producing more than ever before.
Our quiet weekend continues. Spent a lot of yesterday planning but a lot depends on rail strikes etc. DD1 is smug as she has solar panels and an electric car which is almost free to charge while the sun is shining.

Roast pork tonight. A Sunday roast is a must here however hot it is.

Love to all ? x

Good morning everyone from Malaga where the sun’s up and it’s the start of another beautiful day in paradise ?

I culled my clothes yesterday. Yay! So much lighter in spirit as a result. It had gotten ridiculous with bags and boxes stuffed into cupboards too.

Our little family are on their way - yippee! They have just checked in at Manchester airport (no queues how good is that!) and they will be arriving about 2pm by taxi from Malaga - which only takes 8 minutes (I timed it once ?). They’ve been joining us in August since the Boy Wonder was 2 years old as they love it too. A big pool surrounded by cool grass for young feet - just perfect as the sand at the beach is burning hot at this time of the year. L’il Miss is apparently in Boots now choosing a ‘holiday nail polish’.

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I will stay in bed until 8 am. Church this morning and then we are going out to lunch. We will then spend time sorting out the lounge ready for the decorator tomorrow. I will also be looking at curtains for the hall and landing. The existing curtains aren’t bad but they are very faded - I made them years ago.

Good morning from a bright E Kent. We are promised higher temperatures today - bleugh!
I’m sad for you that the public transport doesn’t allow you to see the cycling live in Leamington Spa, Mick.
Picked the Victoria plums off my little tree before the started to fall, quite a harvest!
I changed DS’s bed, tidied up a bit and did a lot of reading. I’ve just finished “Friendly Fire” by Patrick Gale. A lovely book, I enjoyed it enormously. I do like his books.
Finding cooking for one a bit of a bind - I’m not especially bothered with food. It’s stuff I put in my mouth, but I absolutely LOVE feeding people…
Church first thing, then another empty today.
May today be kind to you all especially those struggling. Carpe diem. ?????

Good morning Mick and all who follow from the Black country where the sun is shining.
Wise decision to watch races on the TV you will probably see more, or though being there it's nice to be part of the atmosphere.
DH is fishing hence my early start, washing already out on the line.
Have yet to decide what to do with my empty may take a trip into town have a wander round the shops.
Best wishes to anyone celebrating and virtual hugs where needed will catch up with everybody's happenings later.
Enjoy your Sunday and may you all find some ?.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dry and bright outside here in brackley this morning.
A nice easy day , having been to Bicester yesterday , I plan to watch the commonwealth games men's and women's road races on TV .
I did look into going to see it as the circuit is close to Leamington Spa rail station , but looked at bus times and rail times ,meant i would not see all of the racing due Sunday bus services .
Take Care,
Mick
