Busiest birthday month?

On Friday morning I spent time sorting out August birthday cards for posting/delivering to family and friends and was shocked that it was 12?

Given that I have some months with none (January February and July) that’s a whole third of the total cards I send annually, all in one month!

I made a joke on the GM thread about there being a lot of fun at pre Christmas parties over the years but seems in my neck of the woods I wasn’t far out?

Very much the run up to Christmas, including myself and beyond to the beginning of February, a family and friends cluster in the depths of winter to add even more expense to Christmas.

All my immediate family have birthdays between the last day of September to mid October, seven in all.

Except me, my birthday is in April.

I had all four of my children in the same month, in high summer, over a period of twelve years. I'm not sure what that says about November, except that it's a pretty dreary month.

December and January for me. April is close as well, my daughter and I are 3 days apart.

April and May are my favoured months. Me, son’s partner and nephew in April. Two of my children and my granddaughter in May.

Going through close family and friends October is the only month that there are no birthdays.
Otherwise the are quite evenly spaced out.

The summer months are our busiest ones for Birthdays.

May for me. Three people close to me, plus, in the middle of the month , an entire week of friends ‘ birthdays. An expensive month

Just noticed is an old thread I already posted on and forgot to mention October.
Ah well…..

Most of our grandchildren have September, October, November birthdays. I'm sure the births were planned that way so that the children are the oldest in their school years. Only one DS and DDiL openly said they had planned autumn births, but only one of our 9 DGC has a summer birthday.

The pattern is being repeated with my great nieces and nephews.

Resurrected this morning by a spammer Babs, but still an acceptable thread.
