Dh and I have been working hard all work tidying up and re-arranging his workshop and (whisper this, so no-one hears: throwing a quantity of oddments, kept because they might come in useful OUT).
So today's to-do list began as usual with washing-up and bed-making, feeding the kittens and cleaning their tray.
Then I cycled down to the dump with my cargo bikeful of rubbish (see above) before either of us could change our minds about the "things that might come in useful if kept".
Then we both walked round the local summer do run by the local shopkeepers - it isn't grand enough to be called a fair, did some shopping, came home and then spent an hour reminding the two kittens of the things they are NOT ALLOWED TO DO!
On that particular to -do list was not jumping up onto the kitchen counter even when raw mince is being packed to go into the freezer. (Yes, we know Tigger, completely unreasonable).
Not eating the leather shoe laces of master's shoes, (Tigger again)
Not jumping up onto the bathroom window-sill (which is too high up for a safe landing) and knocking various tubes of sun-cream, hair lotion, ointment, nail clippers and a tin of hair pins onto the floor. (Trubel's contribution. )
Not running out of the back door, as we came back in. (Both).
Kittens due to be vaccinated on Wednesday, so are NOT ALLOWED OUTSIDE YET.
The rest of DH's and my to-do-list for today is to relax, with various renderings of the kittens' list da capo al fin for the rest of the day. (Bathroom door firmly shut, and mercifully they can't open the freezer).
