Desperately sad story of the assisted suicide of a grieving mother
What's going on , on the street outside your home right now?

I borrowed a stunning jewelled sari in aquamarine. It was for an Indian inspired ball. I felt a million dollars
Oooooo fabulous ..... ?

New underwear always makes me feel good - and I try to "stand up" properly - that makes me feel better.
It's not always about the outfit.
Don’t know about million dollars but I felt good in this at Covent garden for my 70th.
Were you at the ballet, Lucca? That's a lovely 4th position.
Navy and white, so elegant.

Is that okay if I mention real leather garment's Moncada men’s vintage leather jacket, It is soo comfy and luxury jacket
hollysteers I wear a dress hardly ever, but I’d make an exception for your one, hope it’s my size for when you get fed up with it ?
Nothing does these days sadly , but probably if I wore a balaclava I’d get some compliments as it’d be a real improvement lol
Lucca what a beautiful dress.
Serendipity, you look fabulous in your dress.

During lockdown I just got bigger and bigger and more and more fed up. I bought a budget bundle of ( pot luck) viscose and got the most beautiful vibrant jungle print. It is turquoise, jade and magenta. I prepared a pattern with a beautiful corseted waist but I thought “who are you kidding!” So I sewed a simple large shift with it.
I’ve lost a bit and “what holds a lot, holds a little”. But every time I wear it I feel a million dollars, it’s lose and stylish and I love the colours.
Last time a lovely young woman said how I looked so well put together. Oh if only she knew!Ooooooo FANNNNNNNTASTIC... so there you go.... a million dollar moment.... sounds fabulous ? ? ? ?
Yes it was! And it goes with my new philosophy (since turning 50, my gift to myself) if I think something mean, keep it to yourself, if I think something nice, say it.
I’ll tell you if I think you look amazing, I know it won’t necessarily make your day, but it won’t make it worse!
My dress , £6.65 for the fabric!

Things I've made myself make me feel good. This top I squeezed from a piece of fabric that was in a '£2.99 scrap bag' from Minerva. I made the skinny jeans too. I also feel pretty good when wearing my karate black belt. Although the black silk has largely worn off, that is a sign of dedicated training.
Oooooo look at you.... fantastic .....
Errrr note to self dont upset lizzypopbottle. hahahahaha. Well done to you for taking it up ( karate)

A red mini dress that I bought for a special occasion around 1967 - fitted as if it has been made for me. Years later I uneartherd it and couldn't believe that I had ever worn anything that short - luckily I always wore pretty knickers!

Hmmm, maybe not million dollar moments, but perhaps $1000!
I remember a light blue dress with white collar and cuffs, very fitted waist and tiny buttons down the front that I had in my 20's. I felt a princess in that dress!
And I admit I felt very nice at my daughter's wedding in 2014. I had a burgundy dress and black bolero style jacket. I guess the cut of the dress would be called fit and flare, it hugged my waist without being snug, and flared out to a fairly full skirt. It was lovely.
I absolutely love burgundy...
In fact my favourite colour of all time is aubergine ( which is close to burgundy- the deeper shade of burgundy)
The dress sounds wonderful and you felt FABULOUSLY in it so thats all that matters..

I have a navy faux leather jacket that I love and I bought myself new knee length navy boots with buttons up the sides last winter and they look great together. I can wear my jeggings, skirts or dresses with them and I feel really dressed up and makes a lovely change from my dog walking outfits.
Ooooooo that sounds fabulous....knee length navy boots.... I agree...
