Morning Mick, morning All from a damp corner of Somerset

Tired from yesterdays trailing around. Unfortunately thr hospital meeting was devoid of progress for our friend. Not sure what next, hard not to worry for her future. .

Mr C wants to wash the car today, looks like the rain is helping him there. Grocery order to finish, a telephone medication review then I must settle to some ‘homework’ in advance of a half day training session on Thursday for some new voluntary work. The training is all via Zoom. I’m looking forward to a new challenge.

What a shame nannyjan, disappointing and worrying for you. Bus cuts here as well mick, hard to reduce car travel when alternatives are shrinking. Enjoy lunch grandmattie, hope tonight brings more sleep and Tuesday is kind to us all.

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s dry with just a few grey clouds in the sky
What a shame your mum didn’t feel up to her long awaited holiday nannyjan it must be so difficult for you both, sending ?
I’m up early as we’ve for DD2 and DGC staying over, plus the new very adventurous kitten ?. The builders arrived at their house yesterday and got started by ripping out the old bathrooms. Apparently their garden looks like a junk yard with debris and a skip taking over. It’s quite chaotic so we’re escaping and leaving them all to it and going away this morning to continue with our walking adventures down in the south west.
Enjoy your lunch with your Tai Chi friends today gMattie just what’s needed I guess and hopefully you’ll sleep a bit better tonight
Hi ? to farview and all our newish posters, lovely to see you joining in
Hoping everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s very grey up there in the clouds. It rained most of yesterday so my pots have perked up I see.

I’m off for a swim this morning and back home to do some work. I’m hoping to mow the lawn later as it’s getting long in some places and dreadful in others. One day I might have a nice lawn ? I keep saying to myself ‘This year I’ll make more effort with it’.

Have a good day all whatever you do ?

Good morning from a dull but still warm Black Country. I seemed to have solved the problem of logging in her on my phone.

I should be in Great Yarmouth now with Mum. A visit to the Sandringham Estate was on itinerary today. But an hour before taxi was due to take us to the coach station she decided she wasn’t up to going! Such a shame as it was her 90th present from the family 2 years ago. She has a blood test booked for next week, then I will book a Doctors appointment again. Her memory and confusion is comfy. She is definitely not the woman she was even 4 months ago.

I stayed at hers overnight, hoping to coax her out for lunch today. Then home to MrJ. His daughter is staying this week as I was going to be away.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning GrandMattie , it’s frustrating when you awake at some unholy hour isn’t it? 3.55am is my witching hour, on the dot ?
Enjoy your lunch, sounds like fun!

Good morning Mick, it’s a damp corner of Wiltshire this morning.
The plumber and electrician are coming this morning to replace the bathroom radiator with a larger dual fuel one so things will be a bit noisy and busy today.
I will walk DDog early then get on with making flapjacks, doing the ironing and generally tidying up the downstairs- I did the utility room and the cupboard under the stairs yesterday.
Enjoy your trip to Bicester!

Good morning from another grey E Kent. The clouds disperse later, without shedding their load, and it’s sunny in the afternoon.
Rubbish night again. My witching hour seems to be 0330 and that’s th3 end of my night. I don’t want to use sleeping pills often, but I think I’ll have one later in the week.
I’ve got 6 friends coming to lunch, after our T’ai Chi class, so l shall be busy AND talk to someone today!
Hope our unwell friends feel ok today, and everyone has a good day. Carpe diem. ????❤️?

Good Morning Everyone,
Its a grey sky start with signs of rain in the night here in brackley this morning.
Today , I will do my usual bus trip to Bicester and back , and return to watch the Vuelta on Eurosport this afternoon .
Talking of buses , we are loosing some on the regular route to Banbury with reductions to hourly ,and no evening or Sunday services due to pandemic and staff shortages .
Take Care,
