Good morning all from an autumnal NE Angus coast. Just thought I'd pop in with my occasional contribution. I think it was the mention of thermal undies that did it Lucy - I was fully kitted out in winter garb yesterday and didn't regret it! On Sunday I met up with DD and one DGD in Perth and it was definitely a summer clothes day - such confusing weather. Today the towels which I washed yesterday are out on the whirly in the sunshine - the dark clouds have noticed and are gathering of course! The meeting with DD was to hear all about the holiday in Portugal she and DGDs have just returned from with NewMan. They all had a ball and as usual the Five Teens got along famously. They range in age now from just 15 to almost 19 so times of togetherness like that are probably numbered sadly. Happy memories though. Now, I'm about to use that forbidden word, so close your eyes now if you don't want to see it. My Christmas is sorted! I've been invited to NewMan's and as he doesn't live so very far from DS2 I'll probably see them too. Something to look forward to indeed. And before that I'll be visiting DS2 over my Birthday at the end of September. What a little gadabout I'm becoming! Marydoll you are talking about that part of the world I didn't know existed until DS1 moved there and I made my safari trek from east to west. I'd heard the place names of course, but putting them on a map would have been a problem! Enjoy your day out. Now I must away and do my Wordle to share with DD so she knows all is well here! So lovely to read of all your doings. Enjoy your lunch with your tai chi ladies Grandmattie - what a very amazing lady you are. First a quilt, next the damson jam, and now a lunch. You'll be too tired to talk! Loved your photos of the Bordeaux bridge BlueSapphire. And hugs for you and your DD Kitty. Love and best wishes to all x
Desperately sad story of the assisted suicide of a grieving mother
What's going on , on the street outside your home right now?

. My new smartphone was activated yesterday, I transferred the number from my old (non smart) phone, which proved to be surprisingly easy. I’ve set up the basics. Now I just have to work out how to get the best out of it, it’s Android and I’m not really used to it. All the basic things are up and running and I found some YouTube videos that I’ll look at today. I struggle with some phones as my vision isn’t good and I have only one fully functioning hand. It’s an Easiphone and is in an armoured case so it should be protected when (not if!) I drop it. I also remembered to order a PIN reminder for my credit card from my bank. I tend to only use it online for convenience, but will want to use it when we are travelling next month. I will have forgotten the pin again by October
