Basically, just ‘doing enough’ at work to get by.
Coasting.
No longer ‘going the extra mile’.
A better work/life balance say the protagonists.
I don't know when or if things will ever be the same. We were such a production oriented society for so very long. "Nose to the grindstone" for our entire lives going back generations. Then 2020 came and knocked us off our collective axis.
‘Working from home’ for quite a few helped them to reassess “what is the purpose of it all?”
What do you think? Is it a healthy assessment about what is actually important these days or is it a slippery slope?
