Rosie1959. People have died every year from other viruses, the Flu being one of them. Remember people lying in corridors during winters, NHS on its knees.

If someone had covid, but then died in a car accident, what was put on the death certificate as cause of death. Certainly not the car accident!!!!! That is how they made the numbers up.

Remember the caring government transferring elderly people from hospitals into care homes, where they caught covid and died. And the average death of people dying of Covid was 82.

So let me get this right a vast number of countries colluded together and pretended there was this virus
If so why would they Why would they decimate the countries finances paying out billions. Were all the medical professionals in on it pretending to treat huge numbers in intensive care
Sorry but think I am reading about an alternative universe surely nobody’s that daft.
Now we have another poster mentioning lethal injections. Covid obviously has affected peoples mental health

Paragraph 2.
That did not happen

Well at least the conspiracy theorists had a go. I'm just waiting for the King Charles bashers then I'm off from this weird place. Its getting worse and worse. The nut cases are out of the nut house.

could a beard cause a trapped nerve?

?

FannyCornforth Fri 09-Sept-22 15:07:04

I’m reminded of a story about Mike and Bernie Winters (one for the teenagers wink) in which the punchline is a member of the audience loudly opining,
‘Oh no! There’s two of them!’

FannyCornforth Fri 09-Sept-22 15:03:53

Sciatica is a trapped nerve vickya
I’m struggling to understand how fiddling about with antibodies and your immune system (which is what vaccines do) can cause a trapped nerve confused

vickya Fri 09-Sept-22 14:46:37

I'm afraid I agree with Usernametaken. I had the first vaccination (AZ) because family didn't want me to see grandchildren unless vaccinated. I got a reaction, bad sciatica for a week and had no further vaccinations. This annoyed family and they didn't want to meet much. We are settling back to more normal now but they all had the virus and I didn't. I don' t like to say so as am superstitious and now I'll get it smile.

Daughters in their 40s were unwell for quite a few weeks. I visited supermarkets and other places. Unmasked if I was able. I just hope the vaccines the daughters and grandchildren had were not the lethal variety.

Esspee.

When are you going to mention the fact that those getting Covid are those that have been vaccinated!?

And no, I don’t need counselling. Can just see through the BS

So all the poor souls that died before vacination imagined they had something and dropped dead in vast numbers across the world. Interesting?

JaneJudge Fri 09-Sept-22 14:43:16

One of my family members grew a beard after having his last booster so in all honesty I am in two minds whether to have it as I really don't want a beard

Both together? Not so sure about the safety of that.

Esspee Fri 09-Sept-22 14:19:11

Usernametaken. Have you tried counselling?

Saggi Fri 09-Sept-22 14:09:41

I had my three jabs then after all done , I had Covid infebruary then again in March …. if I haven’t enough antibodies going through my system yet …I never will have!!

Usernametaken Fri 09-Sept-22 14:05:29

Esspee Am I for real.
How do you explain all the young people, who were fit and strong suddenly dripping down dead.

Without medical intervention for all other illnesses no wonder we are seeing deaths from other causes.Use your brains people you haven't seen a GP face to face for over 2 years, you have been told to isolate, stay at home save the NHS.These deaths we hear of now are the result of complete and utter neglect, waiting lists which were already over the top 2 years ago are now obscenely unmanageable.People are and have been dying through lack of medical treatments, referrels and no examinations at the basic start, from surgeries,to Hospitals,to after care.Thats what is killing people, the knock on affect for one virus taking president over all other! Worse still in most cases,NOW people still can't see a GP, so it will carry on,until this is stopped, our first call is with them, and that certainly doesn't seem to be happening, anytime soon!. So it will carry on.

I am booked in for mid October for my flu jab but have been told I might get my covid jab at the same time. I was very surprised to find, within an hour of receiving the invitation to book online, there were no slots left! I phoned the surgery and the receptionist said “Oh we’ve got just a handful of slots - I’ll book you in.” Presumably if I don’t get my covid booster on that date I’ll have to start the booking process all over again.

Shirls52000 Fri 09-Sept-22 13:20:32

This is an adapted booster vaccine and is bivalent containing both the original vaccine and omicron strain. Covid is still with us and coming into the winter months could potentially cause severe health problems for vulnerable and unvaccinated so it would be prudent to be vaccinated as soon as the vaccine and appointments are available. If you have previously had Covid itself you only need to wait for 28 days since testing positive to have the vaccine. Please don’t be swayed by misinformed socia media keyboard warriors, personally I would rather be led by evidence based medicine and knowledgable scientific input. If something is vaccine preventable and safe, which it is, then there is no contest

Grantanow Fri 09-Sept-22 13:06:01

At least one lunatic fringe poster above. We've already booked our Covid vaccinations. I've had the so-called 'fake virus' and once was enough. Thank God for vaccines.

Esspee Fri 09-Sept-22 12:58:21

I’m in Scotland. My OH and I (he’s 76 and I’m 73) have booked for a flu and covid jab on the 13th.
Last year I insisted on having the jabs separately but since then many have had the combination with no ill effects reported so in the interests of saving the NHS money we are happy to take advantage of being protected against both.

Booked in October to the first "session" our local GP medical centre. So glad to have this!

henetha Fri 09-Sept-22 10:24:00

I'm having mine next Tuesday. For some reason I have to go to Torquay for the jab this time. But I don't really mind.
I just worry for those who don't find it easy to travel.

Teacheranne Fri 09-Sept-22 00:11:58

My gp is offering boosters with flu jabs at the surgery over a few weekends in October. I’d phoned to book a blood test with the nurse and the receptionist offered me an appointment so I’m very pleased to get it in my diary.

My sister is only 54 and had already received a text inviting her to a Covid vaccination centre so I was feeling missed out as I am 65!
