I got my invitation yesterday. Tried to book and there were lots of options. Booked in for next week at a health centre.

Today DH received his letter. Tried to book. Tried to get the same day and place as mine but that was not on the list. Fewer options were available, though lots were rather inaccessible ones. He has managed to find one he can get to and park easily in two weeks time.
Obviously with so many invitations going out at once they are getting booked up quickly.

neighbour who is bed-bound and clinically extremely vulnerable , immuno-suppressed etc, asked GP about this.
was told you are on the list for a home visit.
last time that meant she was done several months after the general population, she has to have district nurses in and out, so was exposed to risk longer.
guess the same thing will happen this time.
and nothing we can do about it. feel like paupers begging at the workhouse door. ever so grateful.

I’m unsure about this one. Several people I know have had adverse reactions to this one.

I’m sorry to hear this. Do you work in care homes, or have lots of friends who are residents or staff in them?

No more Covid jabs for me.
Flu jab next month.

Aldom

I had Covid in July. I have been advised by a family member, medic, to delay my booster until November.

Oh that is good to know, as I have recently recovered from flu in Jly/august and covid June/early Jly and really don’t yet feel up to having the jabs.

I shall wait until late Oct/early Nov and see how I feel then.

Booked my 'over-70 shingles jab' yesterday, and was offered my Covid-and-flu combination jab for a subsequent Saturday morning. Yes please.

Same here - have a booking for 24th - I am 74 today so officially don't qualify, but I will be there with my sleeve rolled up.

We are both under 75 but our GP surgery contacted us yesterday to book a joint covid and flu vaccination, booked for 30th Sept.

Thanks Kate
I’ve just looked to book for DH.
There are usually lots of pharmacies very near by, but this time there were very few options.
I wonder why?
