I was listening to Radio Berkshire today and they were interviewing the jockey Frankie Dettori.

He remembers when he had won a big race the Queen presented him with the winner’s Cup. He said to the Queen ‘This is the fourth time I have won this race Ma’am’ she replied ‘Yes but Lester won it seven times!’

And the gift of laughing at herself, on set .... The James Bond at The Olympics, Paddington, and I believe while having her portrait painted.

That's hilarious - I've got a big grin on my face now, although I may have heard it before...

Even Teresa May had an amusing story to tell, and she did it very well - had the Commons giggling.

I bet that she absolutely adored it when she wasn’t recognised.

One of the gamekeepers (?) at Balmoral told a story of walking through the estate with the Queen.
They came upon some tourists who didn't recognise her, and got chatting.
"Have you ever met the Queen?" the tourists asked, to which the Queen replied,
"I haven't, but he has."
