Is very warm, much, much cheaper, and it is really comfortable smile
I thought this might help someone who is considering one.

Grannynannywanny Sat 17-Sept-22 07:58:33

Which one do you have MissA? I’ve been browsing for one for this winter. I already have a fleece throw but a wearable one sounds ideal.

SkyBird Sat 17-Sept-22 08:28:53

Interesting. I am on the verge of buying one for my granddaughter who is ten. She really loves snuggly/soft nightwear.

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 09:34:51

Oh, I shall update you.
It is really comfortable, like having a quilt tucked around you, but no slipping off.

It took a while, but it built up what felt like a greenhous-like feel; a layer of hot air inside it. smile
I took it off, as I was to warm, but I stayed fairly comfy for about 3 hours after removing it.

I'll try and put a link to it.

24000 reviews, 5 star rating, £15. smile

Worth every penny.

I have bought an extra fluffy one, and wanted cuffed sleeves.

Oh dear. I immediately wanted one and clicked your link but the reviews were very mixed. Some loved them but others complained about the very poor quality and customer service if complaining. Photos of holes etc. Seems like you can be lucky or not. Oh dear. Don't know what to do. I've been stung by dodgy items from China before.

FannyCornforth Sat 17-Sept-22 09:51:30

I’m sure that however chilly it was, it be sweating like a mad thing in one.

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 09:53:39

I am sceptical of buying the latest "must have", and was expecting it to feel like a big fleece, and too heavy, but it's really light.
I stayed warm for hours after taking it off.

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 09:59:56

Ah well, the reviews are a bit of a law into themselves, aren't they?
I get myself more confused by reading them.
Good, bad, and ugly, they usually are.

NotAGran55 Sat 17-Sept-22 10:03:33

Does it shed a lot of fluff MissA ? Thank you ?

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 10:05:16

No, not during its first wearing at all, but I have yet to wash it.
I think I considered that when checking the reviews.

NotAGran55 Sat 17-Sept-22 10:08:37

Thank you ?

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 10:12:26

My only slight criticism was that the pocket pouch at the front was a bit low.
Your hands don't rest against the bottom of the pocket, so you have to slouch a bit to do that.

Handy pocket, though, you can fit a lot in it.

Blossoming Sat 17-Sept-22 10:28:17

Thank you MissAdventure I have just ordered one in silver grey. I have been thinking about it but found the large number of products overwhelming when it came to choosing.

Daddima Sat 17-Sept-22 10:49:11

MissA, I, too, bought this very one, and am very pleased with it. I haven’t washed it yet, but so far it’s great for the money.

SunshineSally Sat 17-Sept-22 11:12:37

I could do with one of these today as I cannot get warm! Definitely autumnal - will have a good look! My problem is having short arms … and those arms look really long.

Will have a look - though I tend to lean more to fluffy throws.

Thanks for the links x

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 11:27:05

It's a,different kind of heat, isn't it, daddima.
Not that unpleasant, sweaty kind, that makes you itch.
More like pitching up a nice warm tent around you.

I did take a while to warm up, but once warm it remained comfortably so, and I stayed warm for a good few hours after taking it off.

NotTooOld Sat 17-Sept-22 11:39:44

You would need to wear leggings and socks with it to keep really warm. I wonder why the black and the burgundy versions cost an extra £2.50.

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 11:41:17

I think they are probably getting ready for some christmas colours.

I bought the pink because it was £4 cheaper, I think.

Grannynannywanny Sat 17-Sept-22 11:41:32

Thank you for sharing MissA. I’m off to have a look.

MissAdventure Sat 17-Sept-22 11:43:58

smile
You're welcome.

Blossoming Sat 17-Sept-22 12:01:07

Shysal it does have cuffed sleeves but it isn’t obvious in the photos. You need to zoom in. Also there’s a ‘try before you buy’ feature, so you don’t pay until after you receive it. I’ve ordered mine and it’s being delivered tomorrow, I’ll report back smile.

The oodie uk site has many bad reviews of customer service and how their selling techniques are snaring people into a trap. Don`t go there to get one
