I used to quite like his show, but then it became rather silly and I found him irritating, so I stopped listening. So, in answer to your question, no I won’t be tuning in to his last show. His programme won’t be missed by me.

It’s sort of the end of an era. I always listened to SW going out on the afternoon school run. Mornings going in used to be Simon Mayo, then he swapped, so we could listen on the way home.
I like Sarah Cox, but not keen on Zoe Ball. Who gets Steve’s slot?

I may listen, it's a shame he's being moved in some ways. I understand the powers that be want younger DJs to attract a younger audience. Do they not understand that there's always going to be a supply of older people listening to R2 as the years roll by?

If they try to get rid of Ken Bruce I propose that we GNrs march on the BBC with placards and rotten fruit to throw at the children who run it these days.

Definitely. I’m a fan of Radio 2. There seems to be quite a shuffle going on sadly. I usually listen to SW, and always listen to the wonderful Ken Bruce. I realise time moves on but the younger DJ’s aren’t for me. If that was the case I’d be listening to Radio 1.

I don’t listen to him. I find him irritating. But he is popular and as we share a birthday (same age too!) I do tend to notice stuff in the press about him.

Will any of you tune in?
Or contact him to say “Lovin’ the Show Steve!”?
