That’s disappointing, Cornergran, I hope you can reschedule soon.
I’m so pleased to hear MrSoop is making a good recovery and that Baggs has been able to see and hug her daughter. ❤️
Aldom that’s very sad, indeed. I’m so sorry.
We had GD for a sleepover last night, for the first time in this new house. She was as good as gold - her strops are clearly for her mother’s benefit and not ours.
My poor friend whose husband died last week is now in hospital after a series of falls. She has an unusual form of MS and now osteoporosis as well so I’m not sure what the outlook is. It’s very sad.
Good news - I got my car back yesterday after it was flooded in bad weather a month ago! I haven’t been able to find what was done to it - the repair company is only allowed to share the ‘diagnosis’ with the insurance company and I must phone them up for details if I want to know. I’m really not sure I have two hours to spare in which to hang around on the phon on Hold. ?
I have had a courtesy car this week, a manual, which I haven’t driven for ages. I bunny-hopped round the local area mainly in second or third gear.
. Today, in my automatic car, I kept trying to change gear and put the clutch down!!
I’m very pleased to have it back, I must say.
I also had a lovely surprise today. A birthday gift from my son arrived. He’d warned me it would be late - imagine my delight when I opened a brand new, hot off the press copy of the gorgeous Alan Rickman’s Diaries! I shall be in heaven reading that and it’s one book I will never be parting with.
Off to take a peek at it right now, TOYA. xxx
