We are back down to earth now we are back from hols. It’s raining so washing is drying inside. Looking forward to picking up GS from school today. We are having to go shopping this evening to fill the fridge again, trouble is Hull Fair opens tonight and it alway snags up the town for the week. Fun.

I’ve had fairly mild side effects from my jabs this time, but after the first booster I was so ill during the night Mr. B wanted to call an ambulance. I hope MrSoop feels better after some sleep.

ann it could be cardiac but more likely to be gallbladder with pain in those areas. Please do not be fobbed off on Monday.

Baggs I do hope you have had a decent night's sleep. Your DD will be delighted to see you today.

soop I agree it would be so embarrassing if Mr. soop was aware. I do hope that sleeping today sorts it out. I know you are not in your first flush of youth so it must be very difficult for you at present. These things always happen at weekends!

Mr Soop remains asleep. I reported his reaction to the GP. Had he fallen last night, he would have badly injured himself. I've cleaned the bathroom thoroughly. He had two major "accidents" and would have been so embarrassed if he had memory of such goings on.

I shall order a large card, and, inside it, I will add all the names of every person who has sent words of support to Baggs.

It is hard to know what they mean , and if you are feeling poorly it seems too hard to do battle with the receptionist,

Good morning all.
I am pleased to say I am feeling rather better today and can breath more deeply without the pain being so sharp.
I have only been shallow breathing for a couple of days now.
Very bizarrely the pain is in my shoulder and my ribs… weird I know.
I have tried my GP twice, only to get a recorded message stating that due to illness amongst the clinical staff they are only taking calls about medical emergencies.
If this is the same on Monday I will email the practice.
It is worth noting that I am under a great deal of stress with a family situation which cannot get any better without a miracle happening.

So pleased for the family of Baggs that the op is over and seemed to go well.
Hope for positive updates soon.
Poor Mr Soop, my best wishes go to him and any kitcheners not so good at the moment.

Sorry for venting and using you all as a sounding board but I know from experience you all understand.

Sounds like a vaccine reaction soop. Our friend over the bridge experienced the same. Living alone she was very frightened. I hope the worst passes quickly, if you’re worried please speak to your GP. My love to you both.

I have had ice cream for breakfast (we are trying to fatten me up - not a phrase heard about me in normal circumstances - and MrLister has cut my toe nails, so I'm ready for anything.

soop thank goodness you were at home to keep an eye on Mr. soop. Very worrying for both of you. I do hope he manages to sleep the worst of it off and can spend a relaxing day in bed.

There’s a thread on booster reactions soop and many have reacted quite badly to it, as indeed I did myself. The violent shaking was awful, but I did feel a bit better after sleeping till gone 3 the next day. Poor Mr Soop. I hope he picks up a bit today but he could feel “off” for a while. It sounds as though you were ok yourself, thank goodness.
