Good morning to our lovely Kitcheners. I’m just passing through as usual. I just wanted to say to Baggs you have my thoughts and hugs as you go through a terribly worrying time with your daughter. ?
Hoping your daughter’s operation goes well. ? Such a worry for you all.

To Ann it sounds as if you have been have troubles too? hope you are ok now.

I’m sorry I’ve been absent of late but I do think of you all.

I just had to pop into the kitchen to add my warmest wishes to Baggs and her daughter for a positive outcome. I too found the news devastating and my thoughts will be with you.

Ann what a horrid experience you had. I know what it is like having spent many an hour in the middle of the night in A&E with my parents. I hope you feel well again soon.

Just popped in to read, as I often do, but felt couldn’t just leave without saying my thoughts too are with Baggs and Ann and hope the messages left by all will help a little to show the love and support -us lot- give and receive in this haven called Soops Kitchen.

I don’t post on this thread either, but often read it. Just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your daughter Baggs - sending warmest wishes.

In the face of such awful news your heart must be breaking Baggs Please take hold of all the love in Soop’s kitchen for you.

Ann the dreadful night you spent in the Emergency dept. was not in vain as your tests were clear. Hospitals should be calm havens.
Try to rest now.

I echo what others have said and will hold Baggs’ DD and the whole family in my heart and prayers. And I hope annsixty has a better night and an appointment with her GP tomorrow. What a lot of worry and anxiety in the kitchen tonight. Let’s hope tomorrow is a better day.

ann I do not have to tell you that your GD is the best, so caring. You had a horrible experience, I do hope you can get a decent night's sleep and be able to rest tomorrow.

Baggs I am so sorry to hear your devastating news- words fail me. I know how difficult it is to rest, never mind sleep but you must, for your daughter. I hope the surgery is tomorrow, get it over and done with and get your daughter on the mend with or without chemo afterwards—all my love.

Oh Baggs what awful news that is, I really hope everything goes as well as it possibly can for your DD tomorrow or Friday. I’ll certainly have her in my thoughts and trust that she’s in the safest hands possible. Sending much ❤️❤️❤️

Annsixty your experience in A&E is just why most of us are terrified of needing it and I’m glad yours was not in fact a cardiac episode. About 6 months after Paw died I found myself unable to breathe and with chest pains . It reminded me of the worst pain I had had round about my gall bladder op. A friend drove me to A&E and it turned out to be a Gastric “episode” but it was scary at the time.
I hope a good nights sleep will go part of the way to restoring your strength and that you have friends nearby on whom you can rely.

Baggs I don't usually post on this thread, but always read it. I couldn't pass by without sending you a big hug. I am so sorry to hear your news. I know a number of us have been through terrible worries with our DDs this year, which is why I wanted to send you my love.

Ann I’m so sorry to hear of your stay in hospital and the reason that took you there. Very worrying for you, and for your GD. The tests have all been negative, though, so let’s hope that’s it!

I’m so sorry to hear your news, Baggs. My stomach actually lurched as I read it. I cannot imagine how you are coping. My heart goes out to you and I wish your dd - both your dds - a swift recovery.

Annsixty I’m sorry you’ve been feeling so poorly. I hope you feel better after a good night’s sleep. I must admit, I struggle with illness nowadays. Not just the being ill, it sends me into a tail spin of misery.

Words are never enough Baggs but please accept heartfelt sympathy and warmest wishes for you all.
Everything else is put in perspective when fate deals us these body blows, but have faith , trust the professionals and know that many many people you have never met are holding you and your family in their hearts

The kitchen is a haven at times isn’t it? soops encourages us to share our joys and any heartaches. Every one of us here come in through the door knowing we will receive kindness, support and genuine care. She encourages us, through her example, to be our best selves. This is why her kitchen is such a comforting and cosy bolt hole.

There is much anxiety in here right now. May I join with you all in wishing for better times ahead for any of us lot (as soop affectionately calls us) who are struggling right now?
