I really need some!
Mine are rolling up and down like a blind each time I move.

Any suggestions, please?

Reasonably priced, obviously tight arse

Misspellings - Sloggis FIT well. My flabby rolls weren't HELD in place.

glammanana Fri 07-Oct-22 13:36:28

M&S full knickers for me no roll down at all size 14 can't be doing with lacy ones they are uncomfortable on the tummy.
My mum always bought Ethel Austin "double gusset" knickers she was devestated when they stopped making them.

MissAdventure Fri 07-Oct-22 13:37:49

I'm researching all the suggestions.

Thank you all very much! smile

I graduated to ‘Bigs’ as opposed to ‘Smalls’ about 18 months ago. Best sets I’ve had are full brief, M and S multipacks. Not overly expensive and they really do the job of ‘gathering everything in’ without ‘spillage’!? Highly recommend

I don't want baggy pants, fanny.
I'm about the same size as you, I think.

Oh yes, my pants aren’t baggy, just all my other stuff.

Great song!

That’s all that I remember - the song!
70’s kids TV was amazing wasn’t it

I am by no means petite at size 16! I tried Sloggis in the past but found them too tight around the leg openings. Supermarket brands I found skimped on fabric sometimes which made them ride up, giving a 'wedgie'. I always go back to good old M&S.

Blossoming Fri 07-Oct-22 13:58:03

M&S go up to size 28. Snag do full briefs up to size 32 but they’re more expensive.

BlueBelle Fri 07-Oct-22 14:07:09

Not at all Fanny 14/16 not at all petite Slim arms legs and face which gives the impression ??
If you wear small pants they can’t roll anywhere

MissAdventure Fri 07-Oct-22 14:07:44

Thank you.
I'm baulking slightly at the prices, but I think I've probably spent more on my 'bargains'.

MissAdventure Fri 07-Oct-22 14:08:59

My arms and legs are usually quite slim.
It's all in the middle!!!

Country Collection has a good range of briefs up to size 24.

Last knickers I bought were from Tesco, £5 for a pack of five. That was sometime last year. All black, size 20, they’ve washed well, kept their shape and haven’t faded. Can’t bear ones that constantly fall below my big belly and they don’t.

MissAdventure Fri 07-Oct-22 15:05:57

smile
Thanks all.
It's really handy to be able to "speak" to real people about these things.

And me, no backside, very thin arms and legs but my trunk is where all my weight goes,my hips and waist measurement are the same which I know isn’t healthy but I don’t know what I can do about it as you cannot spot reduce fat… I am just over 11 stone and I’m pretty sure even if I lost two stone I would still have my huge torso!!…(and the back fat is appalling ?‍♀️)

BladeAnnie Fri 07-Oct-22 15:16:07

Big Bloomers - don't be put off by the name! They are super comfy and wash really well. Maybe not the cheapest but I would say definitely worth every penny

MrsKen33 Fri 07-Oct-22 15:25:28

I don’t like big knickers. I have enough around my waist without them. I usually wear high leg or bikini, hate thongs !!!! Size 14 bottom, 16 top and tallish.
Never ever bought big knickers, I think I was traumatised by my gran’s that were silky and came nearly to her knees. Now those really were big knickers .

Callistemon21 Fri 07-Oct-22 15:26:36

You need Bridget Jones knickers!

Sorry, look away those of a sensitive nature, it's the Daily Mail ?

MissAdventure Fri 07-Oct-22 15:29:47

Well, needs must.

One minute I was a foxy mama, now I'm... well... not. smile
Nobody will be seeing them except me.
