Same as you nanna8, something I do t make at home if poss.
To be honest I dont find the food out much to right home about these days, so I generally dont expect much.
Before covid we we taken to a very posh vegan restaurant in Cheshire. Frequented by the football wags.
Hugely expensive, 12 or more courses (??) Lots of explanations about the dish before it arrived, (why?).
Food was fine but really, what a palava!

If you go out to a general type of restaurant ( rather than Italian, Thai, Japanese etc.) what sort of food is your favourite to order? I tend to order stuff I wouldn’t make at home like duck, crème brûlée etc ( too hard for me to make !) If that is not available I go for something with nice vegetables or anything with eggplants.
