Another good morning from Sefton & as Nannagarra says it's dark & damp here, with more rain forecast.

Zumba on Zoom this morning but no particular plans for the day. I have sewing to be getting on with & we could resume our search for white radiator paint - why is it proving so difficult?

Take care.

Good Morning everyone from a dark Severnside. When I got out of bed it was unusually bright on the landing. It was next doors top of the garden security lights.

I’m off to have my feet done first thing and then a visit to the hairdresser.

I don’t like the change over to shoes. I’m still in my sandals and will cling on for as long as possible.

Hope all goes well for you all today ??

Good morning all from East Yorkshire. Still dark but it’s dry.

I really enjoyed my coffee morning get together yesterday. Lots of laughs just what I need right now.
We took GS out for some fresh air in the afternoon and apart from his appetite not being back to normal he was full of beans!

Today I am thinking of going to a matinee performance at a local theatre.

Good wishes today Mick

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Windy and mild here
I had to escape yesterday when the house was taken over by the preparation for the new boiler. Change of plan; it won't be the one I ordered as there's a very long wait from Germany so another make will come from England.
I shall escape again today - to yarn group where we'll sort the world out.
I have an eye test too.
I hope your hospital appointment goes well. Mick
gMattie you are a wonderwoman! Teaching TaiChi on top of all you do.
My young helper leaves tomorrow. I'll miss him.
I hope the day goes well for everyone.

Good morning from Sefton which is still cloaked in darkness and where it has evidently been raining.
Collecting following clicking, planting of daff bulbs, a swim and the school run will keep me busy.
Good luck for today Mick. You’re not alone in your thoughts about C*@#&*s, Blue Balou!
Thinking of you all.

Here’s Matt.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s still dark. I’m up an hour before sunrise again ha! Not sure about our weather forecast today but no matter really as we are off to pick up my stepfather late morning to take him to M&S Food Hall near him. We go away on Monday for a month and he wants to ‘stock up’. When we come home I want to put my summer sandals away and get out my boots and brogues ready for our return. We decided last night not to swap the duvet over for the winter one yet as this apartment is still cosy - no heating needed yet either.

I’m sat here in bare feet admiring my pedicure from yesterday however over here I’ll need my toes in shoes when I go out. I’ll be in sandals by Tuesday though!

Hope all goes well at your pre-op Mick it’s good you have your brother to take you. Enjoy Wednesday all who can. x

Good morning from Essex by the sea. It's too dark to see what the weather is like.
I arrived back from Leamington early afternoon yesterday after a long, tiring but relatively easy journey.
Today we have to go food shopping, a visit to the boat and maybe lunch out.
My loving thoughts go to all on Gransnet who are going through very tough times at the moment xx

Ho hum for goodness sake ?

Good morning Mick and grandMattie, it’s a dry start here too.
Yesterday I really enjoyed the crafts session and as usual it was lovely seeing everyone.
The afternoon’s WI was hilarious, such a lovely group of friendly people. I’m so glad I made the effort to join.
Today I have a manicure this morning then I need to look for some bits a friend would like for card making.
I was trying in vain yesterday to summon up some enthusiasm for thinking about Chr……., none was forthcoming so will have to try again sometime.
I really don’t care much at all for it, I was perfectly happy not celebrating it during lockdown!
Ho him ?

Good morning from a chilly E Kent.
All best best for your tests today, Mick.
Had a busy day yesterday what with T’ai Chi class, which I led as our usual lady didn’t feel up to it. I left DL in her chair to let her visitor in, and had prepared a tray with everything ready for them to make tea/coffee.
After a short nap, the podiatrist came to tend to DL’s toenails. She then had another visitor. The (retired) Bish was wearing a baseball cap. I idly asked him if he wore flat caps, he said that he had lost his cap the day before - it had fallen out of his pocket. I immediately got DH’s one, which I had wanted to give to someone who would appreciate it. Result! He was delighted and touched.
I went to a WI talk on the lost pubs of Sandwich. Apparently, there had been 125 pubs and ale houses at one stage, but then it had been one of the most important towns in the country, being not far from London and having a navigable river up to Canterbury. Unfortunately the speaker was boring.
Quieter day today, just laundry.
Hope all celebrations go well, all appointment too. Be kind to yourselves. Carpe diem. ?????

Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start does not feel as cold as previous morning.
Yesterdays iron infusion went OK roughly 30 minutes on a drip , I think they are going to notify my Doctor as to follow ups if not tablets.
Today this afternoon a preop assessment at the Churchill in Oxford , brother taking me in.
Take Care ,
Mick
